4.0 The Allstate Mobile app is a comprehensive tool designed to make managing your insurance policies and claims as seamless as possible. Here are some of its standout features:
As a busy professional, I often find myself juggling multiple responsibilities, and the Allstate Mobile app has become an essential part of my daily routine. For example, during my morning commute, I realized I needed to update my auto insurance policy to include a new vehicle. Instead of calling customer service or visiting a branch, I simply opened the app, navigated to my policy, and made the necessary changes in minutes. This convenience saved me time and hassle, allowing me to focus on my workday ahead.
Another scenario occurred when I was planning a weekend getaway. I wanted to ensure I had the right coverage for my trip, so I accessed the app to review my policy details. The clear layout and easy navigation made it simple to confirm that I was adequately covered for any potential mishaps on the road.
The user interface of the Allstate Mobile app is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean dashboard that displayed my policies and any alerts or notifications. The navigation is straightforward, with clearly labeled sections for claims, roadside assistance, and policy management. I particularly appreciate the quick access to my digital ID cards, which I can pull up instantly when needed.
In terms of performance, the app runs smoothly without any noticeable lag. I’ve never experienced crashes or bugs, which is a significant plus for me. Overall, my feelings after using the app are overwhelmingly positive; it has simplified my insurance management and provided peace of mind knowing that I have everything I need at my fingertips.
Allstate Mobile is free to download and use, which is a significant advantage for policyholders. However, it’s essential to note that the app serves as a companion to your existing Allstate insurance policies. The costs associated with your insurance coverage will depend on the specific policies you choose, but the app itself does not incur any additional fees.
Allstate regularly updates the app to enhance functionality and user experience. I’ve noticed improvements in the claims filing process and the addition of new safety features over time. Customer support is readily available through the app, allowing users to reach out for assistance if needed. I appreciate that Allstate takes user feedback seriously and continuously works to improve the app based on real user experiences.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any mobile app, especially one that deals with sensitive personal information like insurance. The Allstate Mobile app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications.
When registering for the app, I was required to provide personal information, including my name, address, and policy details. Allstate emphasizes its commitment to protecting user data, employing encryption and secure servers to safeguard personal information. I appreciate that they are transparent about their data usage policies, which helps build trust.
Regarding ads or tracking behavior, I have not encountered intrusive advertisements while using the app. It appears that Allstate focuses on providing a streamlined user experience without unnecessary distractions. Overall, I feel confident in the app's security measures and appreciate the attention to privacy concerns that are so important in today’s digital landscape.

The app for Drivewise is buggy. Works when it wants to work. As of today, it hasn't logged one trip since January 22nd. Also, it keeps saying "phone use". I never use my phone while driving. Most times, the app doesn't stop recording the trip until you stop and hit "end trip". These issues didn't exist a year ago. I removed and reinstalled the app a number of times. Do better Allstate. This Drivewise part of the appis useless junk.

the app is pretty good overall but if you have their "drive wise" policy, you will probably want to double check the speed limits they have on the app. there are plenty of roads where the speed limit on the app is completely wrong and it says I'm speeding and this makes me wonder if this will affect my rate. if it does, i just a soon dump the drive wise program. it's useless in this case. I have contacted allstate about this at the beginning of January and nothing has changed yet.

App drains my battery even when Im not driving. It causes my phone to get super hot because it's running constantly in the background. It doesn't track all the trips, so it's impossible to get the required 50. Tried uninstalling/reinsalling and everything recommended by tech support, but nothing helps. It's frustratingly unusable to the point that it seems like they are making it so you can't get the drivewise discount.

I've never seen a more simple app be this broken. So I had an account and randomly got logged out of it. Tried to log back in and it says everything is wrong. Tried to recover the account, it refuses to send me any code on both phone and email. Finally we have to call and to get the account reset and I got a generic error, turns out the username was already taken and it didn't tell me that. If I didn't have to use it I wouldn't!

App works okay, main issue is drivewise. It doesn't recognize what the posted speed limit is in certain areas, then flags the trips as unsafe because of speeding. I regularly travel on a side road, and the posted speed limit is 40. I've tried going 35mph,and the app still flags every trip as speeding. It doesn't allow you to file an issue with trips. It doesn't record a lot of trips. I work as a delivery driver. I usually do 50 trips a day. It's been 2 weeks, but drivewise says I'm on 33 trips.
