Set in a long-abandoned cartoon studio, players take on the role of Henry, a former animator who returns to uncover the mysteries behind the studio's sinister past. As they navigate through eerie environments filled with ink creatures and puzzles, players must confront the haunting legacy of Bendy and the secrets that lie within the shadows.

Features & Highlights

  • Engaging Storyline: "Bendy and the Ink Machine" offers a captivating narrative that unfolds as you progress through the game. The story revolves around a cartoon studio that has turned sinister, and players must piece together the mystery behind the ink creature, Bendy. For instance, as I navigated through the eerie halls of the studio, I found myself piecing together clues that revealed the dark past of the characters, making each discovery feel rewarding.
  • Unique Art Style: The game features a distinctive 1930s cartoon aesthetic that sets it apart from other horror games. The hand-drawn visuals create an immersive atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. I remember the first time I entered a room filled with ink and shadow; the art style made it feel like I had stepped into a living cartoon, which was both nostalgic and terrifying.

For example, I encountered a puzzle that required me to collect specific items scattered throughout the studio to unlock a door. This not only added depth to the gameplay but also kept me engaged as I explored every nook and cranny of the environment.
  • Atmospheric Sound Design: The sound effects and music play a crucial role in building tension and enhancing the horror experience. As I ventured deeper into the studio, the haunting melodies and unsettling noises heightened my sense of dread, making every corner feel unpredictable. The sound design truly immerses you in the world of Bendy.
  • Multiple Chapters: The game is divided into several chapters, each offering new challenges and story developments. It instantly reminded me of a perfect mix between the creepy, decaying atmosphere of BioShock and the classic 1930s animation style of Cuphead. Exploring the abandoned, sepia-toned cartoon studio is incredibly eerie and keeps you on edge the entire time. The story is mysterious, the puzzles are fun, and the characters are genuinely creepy. A must-play for horror fans!

I am obsessed with Bendy and the ink machine, but there are issues with the mobile version, the issue I noticed is that when you have to turn on the projector and play the instruments in Sammy's recording studio, you can't run on the mobile version so by time you play the first instrument the projector shuts off immediately after, there's not enough time, there needs to be a way to run on the mobile version because I can't open the door since I can't play the song in time, this makes me sad

This is a fantastic game. But that's not why I am writing this review. I'm writing this review to note that there are so many bugs and glitches in the mobile version of this game. One example that I've had to struggle with is in Chapter 4 of the game. After dieing from the Evil Boris Boss, you can't respawn and you stay stuck in the ink tunnels, without ever being able to revive, forcing you to quit and lose of all your progress after the last checkpoint. Please fix this.

Now, the game itself is amazing, but the mobile port, there are several issues. 5 stars for the game itself though. For example, I hate how the ink demon works in this port. On PC, the area becomes black, which I like, but this makes your screen black, and the closer you are to him, the more blind you are. Also, the controls aren't that good. A feature that allows us to customize the size and locations of the buttons would be good. Overall, if u have. PC, get it there, not here

This game is absolutely amazing, and so are the creators. The controls are simple and then gameplay is both simple and complex, and the lore is extremely deep, and you get thrown around, so don't come in with any expectations or ideas about the lore, because I guarantee you will be wrong about the lore. The graphics are wonky but that's the whole point, the voice acting is much better than you would expect, with like at least twenty different voices in the game. Just buy the game already.
