The app barely opens. You cannot comment on the forum. This new update has been broken on Android for multiple weeks. What are y'all doing? Edit: y'all aren't even trying to fix the app. like just roll back to the previous version. The app doesn't even work. Edit (04/23/2025): The app finally opens without any bugs. Still a bunch of features missing. no comment notifications, keyboard in front of text box, etc. Moving to two stars. Edit: 6/12. We're so back!

The new Bleacher Report sucks. Not only is it glitchy (The app seldom loads the first time I try opening it,) but the layout is less intuitive and less informative. They are leaning more and more into videos, and moving away from articles. If I wanted to listen to sports I would find a podcast. If I wanted to watch someone talk about sports... Well I would never want that. Articles can be scanned. They have a more engaging comment section. And are overall more convenient. Bad move by BR.

Went from one of my most-used apps to nearly unusable. They changed the entire format with no warning to users. The forums don't work. The articles load maybe half the time. Can't have a conversation about sports on an app that's dedicated to conversations about sports. And there's no fix in sight. Time to find a new sports app. I advise you to do the same.

Got the update now nothing works. Thanks... for nothing. Update - I see what they're going for with a refreshed and sleeker interface. But every time you click on something, you have an 80% chance of getting the "something went wrong" message. The app, as it is now, is practically unusable. I'm uninstalling this and maybe check back in a few months to see if it gets a better upgrade (or preferably a downgrade to what they had before).

Used this app for over 10 years and I'm probably going to uninstall it and go elsewhere. The new update is just that bad. Hard to find anything, constant crashes, more ads than actual content, the content they have is not at all tailored to any of my favorite teams or leagues anymore, way too many "clips", can't find your notifications in the app anymore, can't read comments which is the only reason to be on here anyway. It's hard to remember an update fail as bad as this one.
