4.1 As a parent, I often find myself looking for engaging activities to keep my kids entertained, especially during long car rides or rainy afternoons. "Bluey: Let's Play!" has become my go-to app for these scenarios. Just last week, we were stuck in traffic on our way to a family gathering. Instead of the usual complaints from the backseat, I handed my kids the tablet, and they dove into a game of "Bluey’s Treasure Hunt." Their excitement filled the car, and I was relieved to hear giggles instead of grumbles. The app not only kept them occupied but also sparked conversations about teamwork and sharing as they worked together to find hidden treasures.
The user interface of "Bluey: Let's Play!" is bright, colorful, and incredibly intuitive. Even my youngest, who is just four, navigated through the app with ease. The layout is simple, with large buttons and clear instructions, making it accessible for children of all ages. I was particularly impressed with the seamless performance; there were no lags or crashes, which is a common issue with many kids' apps. The sound effects and animations are delightful, capturing the essence of the beloved Bluey series. After using the app, I felt a sense of satisfaction knowing my kids were not only entertained but also learning valuable skills through play.
"Bluey: Let's Play!" is available for a one-time purchase of $4.99, which I found to be quite reasonable considering the amount of content and entertainment it provides. There are no hidden fees or in-app purchases, which is a huge plus for parents like me who want to avoid unexpected charges. This straightforward pricing model makes it easy to budget for family entertainment without worrying about ongoing costs.
The developers of "Bluey: Let's Play!" have been proactive in providing updates, ensuring that the app remains fresh and engaging. I noticed a recent update that added new games and features, which my kids were thrilled about. The support team is also responsive; I reached out with a question regarding a game feature and received a helpful reply within 24 hours. This level of customer service gives me confidence in the app and its ongoing development.
As an American user, security and privacy are always top of mind when it comes to apps for my children. "Bluey: Let's Play!" is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. The app does not require any personal data for registration, allowing my kids to play without the need for an account or sharing sensitive information. Additionally, there are no ads or tracking behavior, which is a significant relief. I appreciate that the developers have created a safe environment where my children can explore and play without the risk of encountering inappropriate content or unwanted advertisements. This commitment to privacy makes "Bluey: Let's Play!" a trustworthy choice for families.

Only 2 rooms are available and 1 bubble with 6 pages to color. The ability to unlock anything is set to all or nothing. You have to subscribe to a monthly 6.99 charge. I'm guessing when you cancel everything is locked again. I tried to find out if they stay unlocked after canceling but couldn't find any info about it. Was fun for a little bit but the subscription killed it for us.

This review is more about canceling my subscription. I canceled on June 4th and should have had access through July 4th. However, the app revoked all access with the exception of 2 "bubbles" prior to that date. My child thoroughly enjoyed the game however I will not be resubscribing at any time due to the charge and service not running through the date it should have.

I paid for more than a few months of this game because my kid loves it. But charging a subscription fee for a game worth one-month of subscription is highway robbery. There's really not much game play here, just moving characters around or "coloring" them. At most, this game is worth $9.99 and nothing more.

I like how it has all correct things, the decorations look like the show and everything, just wish I didn't have to subscribe for everything else, it's a fun game for kids and I think that the little coloring pages are cute. everything is good except the limitations. not too many adds, either. and then I'm glad that they added the detail of Bluey being a female, since most think she's male.

This app is very disappointing. The free version gives you 2 free - what I thought were - games, but instead are just "interactive experiences" which is just moving 2 different characters around on: one - a scene of the of their kitchen and the second - a scene of their backyard and a couple coloring pages, but not even all the colors are available. The colors that actually go with the characters are grayed out and you can only access if you pay for the subscription. So greedy!
