4.3 BookFunnel is a powerful tool designed specifically for authors and publishers, making it easier to distribute eBooks and connect with readers. Here are some of its standout features:
As an indie author, I often find myself juggling multiple tasks, from writing to marketing. BookFunnel has become an essential part of my workflow. For example, when I finished my latest manuscript, I needed a way to distribute it to beta readers for feedback. I simply uploaded the eBook to BookFunnel, created a download link, and shared it with my readers. They were able to access the book on their preferred devices without any technical issues, which made the feedback process much smoother.
Another scenario where BookFunnel shines is during promotional events. I recently participated in a virtual book fair, and I used BookFunnel to offer free copies of my book to attendees. The setup was quick, and I was able to track how many people downloaded the book, which helped me gauge interest and follow up with potential readers later.
The user interface of BookFunnel is intuitive and easy to navigate. Upon logging in, I was greeted with a clean dashboard that clearly displayed my books, downloads, and analytics. Uploading a new eBook was straightforward; I simply followed the prompts, and within minutes, my book was ready for distribution. The workflow is designed with authors in mind, making it easy to manage multiple titles and campaigns.
Performance-wise, I experienced no lag or glitches during my time using the app. Everything from uploading files to generating download links was quick and efficient. Overall, my feelings after using BookFunnel are overwhelmingly positive. It has simplified my eBook distribution process and allowed me to focus more on writing rather than the technical aspects of sharing my work.
BookFunnel offers a variety of pricing plans to suit different needs. The basic plan is quite affordable, making it accessible for new authors. As my needs grew, I opted for the mid-tier plan, which provided additional features like custom landing pages and advanced analytics. I found the investment worthwhile, especially considering the time and effort it saved me in managing my eBook distribution.
BookFunnel is regularly updated with new features and improvements, which shows the developers' commitment to enhancing user experience. Whenever I had questions or encountered issues, their customer support was responsive and helpful. I appreciated the detailed FAQs and tutorials available on their website, which made troubleshooting a breeze. Overall, I felt supported throughout my journey with BookFunnel.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and BookFunnel does a commendable job in this regard. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the security standards set by these platforms. During registration, I was only required to provide essential information, which minimized the risk of my personal data being compromised.
Importantly, BookFunnel does not engage in intrusive ads or tracking behavior. I felt comfortable using the app, knowing that my data was not being sold or shared with third parties. This focus on user privacy is a significant plus for me, as it allows me to concentrate on my writing without worrying about my information being mishandled.

The app is not user friendly or intuitive. It will not display book series in the order of release and I have not found a way to manually reorder the books. It's annoying having to dig through all of a series to find which book you're currently listening to. Also, the app opens to a screen asking you for a book code rather than the player. I can't really recommend the player, but there are some series you just have to use it for.

Useful tool to access books purchased directly from authors. My big issue right now is that it seems like you cannot have multiple emails, so I have to log out/in to the email the books were sent to and it's a bit of a hassle. I tried to review their 'help' docs but nothing references this nor is there a search option... Otherwise, decent, simple little app.

It's not a terrible app, but it has a bad habit of rearranging my books out of the order I put them in. If it didn't do that or seem to glitch, sometimes when I have to exit out of it and enter it again, that would be welcome. Some more options for organization and customization would be appreciated, especially if you could choose where the downloads go. Also, why does it not sync across devices?

you usually can't get to your list of books but it does exist, I've been there. Opening the app takes you straight to the download code page. I try to reset my password but it says I have the wrong email, the same one it just accepted. I can't find any access to customer service. There are lists of books available for free but getting there is next to impossible. If I have a link it usually works but frequently not. The app sucks for the reader. There is lots of support for writers

No options to; have it read aloud to, so I can listen+read. Not able to categorize/organize my books. Not able to highlight or Annotate/ make notes on it.Can't make it to scroll up, only allows swipping. Hard to get into a book without smooth/good transition in page. Only accepts a few formats not all. I only really use it to get access to books I can't otherwise. I am just going to leave it at that, there can definetly be more than a few improvements on it.
