4.5 When it comes to safeguarding your privacy, "Camera Block: Guard & Anti spy" stands out with its robust features designed to protect users from unwanted surveillance. Here are some of the core highlights that make this app a must-have for anyone concerned about their privacy:
As someone who frequently travels for work, I often find myself in situations where privacy is a concern. Whether I’m in a hotel room or attending a conference, the fear of being recorded without my consent is always in the back of my mind. One evening, while attending a networking event, I noticed a suspicious individual who seemed overly interested in my conversations. I quickly opened Camera Block and disabled my camera, feeling a wave of relief wash over me. This app has become an essential part of my travel toolkit, allowing me to focus on my work without the nagging worry of surveillance.
The user interface of Camera Block is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean layout that made navigation a breeze. The main dashboard displays all the essential features prominently, allowing me to block or unblock my camera with just one tap. The workflow is seamless; I can easily access the spyware detection feature and view alerts without any hassle. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly in the background without draining my battery, which is a significant plus. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I feel empowered knowing I have control over my privacy.
Camera Block: Guard & Anti spy offers a free version with basic features, which is great for casual users. However, for those who want to unlock the full potential of the app, there is a premium subscription available. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the peace of mind it provides. I opted for the premium version, and I believe it’s worth every penny for the added security features and enhanced functionality.
The developers of Camera Block are committed to keeping the app updated with the latest security features and improvements. I’ve noticed regular updates that enhance performance and add new functionalities. Additionally, the support team is responsive and helpful. I had a minor issue with the app, and after reaching out, I received a prompt reply with a solution. This level of support gives me confidence in the app and its developers.
In today’s digital age, security and privacy are paramount, especially for American users who are increasingly aware of surveillance risks. Camera Block: Guard & Anti spy is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the standards set by these platforms. Upon installation, the app does not require extensive personal data, which is a significant advantage. Unlike many apps that ask for unnecessary permissions, Camera Block only requests access to your camera and notifications, keeping your personal information safe.
Moreover, the app is free from intrusive ads and tracking behavior, which is a common concern among users. I appreciate that the developers prioritize user privacy, allowing me to use the app without worrying about my data being sold or misused. Overall, Camera Block: Guard & Anti spy is a reliable tool for anyone looking to enhance their privacy and security in an increasingly connected world.

The free version does not offer protection between 20:00 and 22:00, which is buried down at the bottom of the About this App section, and it doesn't provide an obvious alert when the camera is unblocked. They also could've selected a timeframe when most users would be asleep, so as not to disrupt service, but many individuals would still be awake and using their devices. Otherwise, it seems okay based on my experience over the past week.

I first it worked great but now a lot of glitches half the time it doesn't work. I'm able to access my camera while it's supposed to be locked and then there's the issue of the additional cameras of that Google places. their phones not just the front in the back but The inconspicuous ones based closer to the bottom the right side of the screen. it may stop one or the other cameras, but it can't stop all of the cameras on the phone.

Doesn't do what it used to. It had a widget that would automatically open your phone for 10 min, or whatever you set it to. It doesn't do any of that anymore. Now it's just continually triggers spam commercials. They got rid of the widget, it only triggers commercials. There are other options out now, especially since they did away with the best feature. I had the paid version for a while, but it functioned completely differently, the free version was a better app. Not anymore.

Excellent app. I can turn it off at will but have it on the rest of the time. I installed it because my android phone was hacked. They, real humans, were watching, messing with emails, and nearly wrecked me. I had to install a microphone-blocking app, too, because of them. And run a malware, virus, etc. scan. Thank you for your app.

A very good and simple app. Works as described, it requires admin privileges, but this is expected. All you have to do is tap block and your good to go. It prevents all apps the permissions to access your camera, take pictures, and upload them online. You know it's working as intended when you try to access your camera and you get an error or retry screen. You can easily enable or disable it by tapping "unblock" or "block". Simple is best.
