This is a great game but unless the the problem with the mist transformation is fixed everybody should leave it alone because you can only go so far and then your stuck not even halfway through. I wasted days playing it really getting into it just to get stuck. Until this is fixed this is rip-off and it should be avoided. If the problem is fixed I will immediately update.

I'm an avid gamer and hit my Castlevania stride with Symphony Of The Night (Sotn) when it was released on the OG Playstation. I thought this would be a good way to relive some nostalgia, but there are a few problems. 1) no button guide or custom mapping. 2) controller or bust. 3) different voice actors and dialogue script changes. 4) I just got Mist form and only managed to use it once accidentally no matter the button/trigger. it's not going to be easy, but I will press on.

SOTN is one of the greatest games of all time. Mobile port has some issues, but nothing using a controller can't fix, mostly. I wish we had a toggle to use the original PS1 voices and all that, because its part of this games charm. What does this version do different than others? The on-screen controls allow you to cast a spell instead of having to input the command for it every time. Spam Soul Steal and Tetra Spirit! Also you can continue directly from the last screen you enter from the menu.

Obviously it's a really good game, and the price is great, but the controls really suck. Jumping and attacking on the mobile version is painful, but you can bind spells you know to a single button instead of the fighting game input, so I relied on tetra spirit a lot. Also it counts as you having a complete file so you can get the ring of Varna and stuff on the first playthrough. Even with the bad control layout it's worth it for the price.

Used to play on a Galaxy S9 and everything ran great. Upgraded to an S23 and all of the sudden the game is WAY too fast. Everything on screen happens at about twice the normal speed, gameplay and dialogue. Gameplay is an issue because jumping feels like I have lead feet, I have to make perfect jumps for even the most basic platforming otherwise I drop like a brick and have to redo everything. I don't see a setting to alter game speed, so I have no idea how to fix this.
