4.3 As someone who loves interior design, I often find myself using "Design Home™: House Makeover" during my downtime. Whether I’m waiting for an appointment or relaxing at home, the app provides a perfect escape into the world of design. One of my favorite scenarios is when I’m brainstorming ideas for my own living space. I can experiment with different styles and layouts without the commitment of real-life purchases. Additionally, I often use the app to prepare for upcoming events, like a dinner party, by designing a beautiful dining area that impresses my guests.
The user interface of "Design Home™: House Makeover" is sleek and intuitive, making it easy to navigate through various design options. The workflow is seamless; I can quickly select a room, choose a style, and start placing furniture with just a few taps. The app's performance is impressive, with minimal lag even when loading high-quality images of furniture. I particularly enjoy the 3D view feature, which allows me to visualize how my designs will look in a real space. Overall, using the app feels rewarding and engaging, as I can unleash my creativity and see my ideas come to life.
"Design Home™: House Makeover" is free to download, which is a significant plus for anyone looking to explore their design skills without financial commitment. However, the app does offer in-app purchases for premium items and additional currency, which can enhance the experience. While I appreciate the free access, I occasionally find myself tempted to buy special items to elevate my designs further.
The developers of "Design Home™: House Makeover" are proactive in providing updates that enhance the user experience. I’ve noticed regular additions of new furniture and decor items, keeping the content fresh and exciting. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. Upon registration, users are required to provide basic personal information, but the app does not ask for overly intrusive data, which is reassuring.
In terms of ads and tracking behavior, I’ve noticed that while the app does feature advertisements, they are not overly intrusive and do not disrupt the user experience. The app also provides options to manage privacy settings, allowing users to control how their data is used. Overall, I feel secure using "Design Home™: House Makeover," knowing that my personal information is handled with care.

I stopped playing this game for about a year, then I noticed it in my apps and opened it to see if there were any changes. The weekend I gave it a second try, the game offered a weekend long time to earn double points, which I really appreciated. I don't have money to spend on games, so it was nice to be able to spend less time earning diamonds to design rooms. If someone isn't willing to devote gobs of time or money in this game, it is difficult to create one's dream designs.

It's a very fun game to play but it is so expensive. I never spend money on in-app purchases, but I was having so much fun that I did buy several bundles. But it's so expensive for only a few items, and you only get to use those items a couple of times. It is impossible to get enough diamonds/app money to use on certain required items in the challenges without using real money to buy them. It's not reasonable to have to potentially spend $30-$100 of real money each month just to play this game.

Played this game years ago when it first came out and even then they were pushing the micro transactions. Fast-forward to now, and it is out of control. Any non-furniture decoration item costs gems; an obscene amount of gems. And every design requires at least 10 decorative things (rugs, wall decor, candles, pillows, curtains, wallpaper, etc). You can submit bare-bones designs as a free player, but of course you won't get high scores. Close to uninstalling it again because of the pay to play.

Really enjoy this game...just wish one didn't have to purchase same items more than once...feel like that's a waste of earned cash.. $$ or diamonds 💎. Many of the items are very pricey, therefore, one has to purchase more diamonds to buy items in game. Personally, I think the rewards for design challenges should be way higher, more commiserate with inventory item prices!! Also, the voting has gotten ridiculous! I don't know if the logarithms are jacked or if there are bots that may be voting.

I used to really love this game. There have been some improvements with fixing the bugs and freezing. If you don't purchase and use the bundles it's nearly impossible to get anything higher than a 3 or 4 star rating. This game can be VERY costly, the voting sucks 3 keys for every 5 votes when it takes 15 to 25 keys to enter one challenge which max out at 75 keys. the tablescspacing sucks, everything had to be purchased individually and you only get 1 of any item purchased.
