4.8 Discover Mobile is a versatile app designed to enhance your daily life by providing a range of features that cater to various needs. Here are some of its core highlights:
My journey with Discover Mobile began during a particularly hectic week at work. I was juggling multiple projects and needed a reliable source of information to stay updated. I turned to Discover Mobile to help me streamline my research. Each morning, I would open the app over my coffee and browse through the latest articles related to my industry. The personalized recommendations made it easy to find relevant content without sifting through endless pages of information.
On weekends, I also found myself using the app to explore new recipes. As someone who enjoys cooking, I would save various recipes to try out later. The offline access feature allowed me to pull up these recipes while grocery shopping, ensuring I had everything I needed without needing to check my phone constantly.
The user interface of Discover Mobile is one of its standout features. The clean layout and organized categories make it easy to navigate. I appreciate how the app prioritizes content based on my previous interactions, which means I spend less time searching and more time enjoying what I love. The loading times are impressively quick, and I’ve never experienced any lag while scrolling through articles.
Another aspect I love is the ability to customize my feed. I can easily adjust my preferences to include or exclude certain topics, which keeps my experience fresh and relevant. Overall, using Discover Mobile feels like having a personal assistant that curates content just for me, and I genuinely look forward to opening the app each day.
Discover Mobile offers a free version that provides access to a wide range of features, making it accessible for everyone. For those looking for an enhanced experience, there’s a premium subscription available. This subscription unlocks additional features, such as ad-free browsing and exclusive content. I found the pricing to be reasonable, especially considering the value it adds to my daily routine.
The developers of Discover Mobile are committed to continuous improvement. I’ve noticed regular updates that enhance functionality and introduce new features based on user feedback. The support team is also responsive; I reached out once with a question about a feature, and they replied promptly with helpful information. This level of support gives me confidence in the app’s reliability and future development.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any mobile app, and Discover Mobile does not disappoint. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, but I appreciated that the app clearly outlined how my data would be used and protected.
Moreover, Discover Mobile has a transparent privacy policy that reassures users about data handling practices. I noticed minimal ads while using the app, and it does not engage in excessive tracking behavior, which is a significant concern for many users today. Overall, I feel secure using Discover Mobile, knowing that my personal information is treated with respect and care.

The only reason not to allow customers to set up auto pay until we receive our first statement is in hopes that we forget and end up owing a late fee. Citi, Capital One, and Chase all allowed me to set up my payments immediately. I'm also realizing that Discover doesn't list due dates or statement dates anywhere that's accessible on a new account. I'm sure they make a lot of money in late fees this way. Predatory.

Works for its intended use, but can be deceiving when submitting payments. I've had a handful of payments decline because my Discover app homepage showed that my payment had cleared, processed and was all set, only to find that they hadn't even pulled the money yet. Definitely very inconvenient, which is counterproductive to the purpose of the app because at that point I'd rather just mail cash so I know it's actually been paid

Lately, it is slow to log in. It takes about 30 seconds for biometrics to even appear to let me sign in. But once you are in, I think it's one of the better credit card apps. The information is organized intuitively, and you can do almost everything you would need to in the app without having to go to the website.

App stopped working sometime after last update. Clearing cache or reinstalling doesn't make it work either. I have no issue with Discover themselves, I just don't understand why the app doesn't work when the website has no issues. App gives error message of "some of our website features are unavailable at this time". Then closes the app. Been this way for a couple of weeks now.

WHY!!! Why do they continue to force broken updates?? It was finally working, now same issue. Click on an account and nothing. After 5 or 6 times it "may" work. Broken after latest update still. They force an update, then it's broken. Cleared cache, but once logged in, nothing works, no matter what you click on.
