4.6 As an avid tabletop RPG enthusiast, I often find myself in need of a reliable tool to help me craft engaging adventures for my friends. "Dungeon Maker" has become my go-to app for this purpose. Whether I'm preparing for a weekly game night or brainstorming ideas for a new campaign, the app fits seamlessly into my routine. For example, just last week, I had a sudden urge to create a dungeon for an impromptu session. With "Dungeon Maker," I was able to whip up a detailed layout in no time, complete with traps and treasure, ensuring that my friends had an unforgettable experience.
The user interface of "Dungeon Maker" is refreshingly intuitive. Upon launching the app, I was greeted with a clean layout that made navigation a breeze. The drag-and-drop feature for placing tiles and objects is particularly user-friendly, allowing me to visualize my dungeon as I build it. The workflow is smooth; I can easily switch between designing the layout and adding narrative elements without feeling overwhelmed. Performance-wise, the app runs flawlessly on my device, with no lag or crashes during my extensive design sessions. Overall, using "Dungeon Maker" feels like a creative playground where I can let my imagination run wild, and I always come away feeling accomplished and excited to share my creations.
"Dungeon Maker" offers a free version with essential features, which is perfect for casual users. However, for those looking to unlock the full potential of the app, there is a premium subscription available. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the wealth of features and community support that comes with it. I opted for the premium version, and it has been worth every penny, as it has significantly enhanced my dungeon-building experience.
The developers of "Dungeon Maker" are committed to providing regular updates, which is evident from the new features and bug fixes that roll out frequently. I appreciate their responsiveness to user feedback, as they often implement suggestions from the community. Additionally, the support team is readily available through the app, making it easy to get assistance when needed. I had a minor issue with exporting my dungeon, and their support team resolved it quickly, which left me feeling valued as a user.
As an American user, I take security and privacy seriously, and "Dungeon Maker" does a commendable job in this regard. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was only required to provide minimal personal information, which I appreciated. There are no intrusive ads, and I have not noticed any tracking behavior that compromises my privacy. The developers seem to prioritize user security, ensuring that my data remains safe while I enjoy creating dungeons. Overall, I feel confident using "Dungeon Maker" without worrying about my personal information being mishandled.

i originally made this 5 star review in October of 2020, playing since 2018. I'm rewriting April 2026. I maintain my original 5-star review. There is literally nothing to complain about. Everything is balanced in a fair way that quickly rewards progress once you get a hang of the gimmicks. There are absolutely zero mandatory purchases, and you can progress this game completely free beyond the initial purchase. It's quick to get addicted to. One of five games I constantly cycle back to.

I realized I never made a review for this game when I started playing Dungeon Within. I've got way more hours in Dungeon Maker than I care to admit. Long runs, large scale, and so many ways to play without needing to spend money outside of the DLC brought so much fun. Also the pixel art is fantastic.

This is an amazing game (I would have given it a 4.5 out of 5 stars but google play won't allow me to do that) the combat is simple, it's playable offline, the dlc isn't bad for the price, and it's very strategic. However the one small issue I have is the game does not describe in detail what many abilities do, like I look at a tile and it gives enemies rage, (what's rage?) But over all it's an enjoyable game and it does do well in that regard. I would highly recommend ❤️

Edit still no portrait mode 2025 :/ Fantastic game! Unique gameplay, beautiful graphics. The packs are very very slow to earn. I really appreciate that they make all the in-game features available without paying, but it would take an unbelievable amount of time to even earn a small fraction of the cards without paying. I don't mind grinding for gems, and I don't even mind paying a little here and there for additional packs sometimes, but the pace at which you earn gems currently seems lik

The improvements that have been made to this game have turned it from good to great in my opinion. There is plenty of strategy and luck in pretty even parts, and you can create your dungeon in each run to suit an idea or play style without too much trouble. My only gripe is that one of the updates seems to have broken an in game purchase that I made (monster succession). Edit: I misremembered which pack I bought, not the devs fault! Edit2: They're still improving on it.
