4.3 Fidelity Investments is a powerhouse in the world of finance, offering a suite of features that cater to both novice and seasoned investors. Here are some of the standout features that make this app a must-have for anyone looking to manage their investments effectively:
As someone who juggles a busy work schedule, I often find myself using the Fidelity Investments app during my daily commute. Whether I’m on the train or waiting in line for coffee, I can easily check my portfolio performance and make quick trades. Just last week, I was able to capitalize on a sudden market opportunity while waiting for my meeting to start. The app's mobile-friendly design allows me to stay connected to my investments without being tied to my desk.
The user interface of the Fidelity Investments app is sleek and modern, making it easy to navigate through various sections. I particularly appreciate the dashboard, which provides a snapshot of my investments at a glance. The workflow for executing trades is straightforward; I can place an order in just a few taps. Performance-wise, the app is responsive and rarely lags, even during peak trading hours. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, as the app has empowered me to take control of my financial future with confidence.
Fidelity Investments operates on a commission-free trading model for U.S. stocks and ETFs, which is a significant advantage for cost-conscious investors like myself. While there are some fees associated with certain mutual funds and services, the overall pricing structure is transparent and competitive. I appreciate that I can invest without worrying about hidden fees eating into my returns.
The app is regularly updated with new features and improvements, which keeps the user experience fresh and engaging. I’ve noticed enhancements in the research tools and educational content, making it easier for me to stay informed. Additionally, Fidelity’s customer support is top-notch; I’ve reached out a couple of times with questions, and the response time has always been quick and helpful. It’s reassuring to know that assistance is just a tap away.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when it comes to managing my investments. The Fidelity Investments app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the security standards set by these platforms. During the registration process, I was required to provide personal information, including my Social Security number and financial details, which is standard for financial apps. However, I felt secure knowing that Fidelity employs advanced encryption and security measures to protect my data.
Moreover, the app does not bombard users with ads, which is a relief. I appreciate that Fidelity focuses on providing a seamless user experience without intrusive marketing. While the app does track some user behavior to enhance its services, I have not encountered any privacy concerns. Overall, I feel confident using the Fidelity Investments app, knowing that my financial information is safeguarded.

Doesn't work on Pixel 10 Pro XL. The app presents across the entire available screen, so the "Log In" and menu links in the upper corners cannot be selected. When trying to log in another way, the end result is the same. Edit to respond to dev: did all that already. I cannot select "profile" because the menu is in the upper corner.

Had a recent update. Now, the layout is less user-friendly in terms of allowing for note analysis, stock quotes, and alerts. Have had to use Yahoo Finance instead. Update to 6/2026 The user login requires pin for verification (even when checked off as to not be asked again) and then followed by additional Login of up to 3 times. Upon 1st click of any selection, when opening, it closes the screen out. Also has begun to use quite a bit of power running in the background.

This app is a dumpster fire. For example, when viewing All Positions, the data for some positions/rows doesn't line up with the column headers. For instance, $ Gain/Loss data is shown in the % Gain/Loss column. All the data on the affected lines is shifted one column to the right. This problem is unique to the Android app. I don't have this problem with the iPad app, iPhone app and the website on my Windows and Apple laptops.

Pretty good app and easy to navigate. However, I keep running into issues with looking at stocks. All of the app works fine, but when I click on a stock, I just get the loading symbol. It doesn't ever load. I've tried clearing the cache and I eventually reinstalled it. It worked for awhile, but the loading symbol occurs again when I click on any stocks. Please fix it.

Update: Unstable and hit or miss when clicking on a ticker to research a company or buy or sell stocks. One hour it works the next hour it doesn't. The problem is it hangs on loading with green line going around in a circle. It's been happening since the last update. Logged out, closed app, and cleared cache. No help. This can be a good app when working properly. Another suggestion, if it's not broke don't try to fix it.
