Instead of waiting until I got home to deposit it, I simply opened the app, took a quick photo of the check, and submitted it for deposit. It was seamless and saved me a trip to the bank.
Another scenario where the app shines is during my monthly budgeting sessions. I sit down with my laptop and the app open side by side. I'm extremely unhappy with the app. Ever since they "updated", making additional principle payments is impossible. Going to the mortgages link, there's so many times I choose an option and it takes forever to load or sometimes doesn't at all and I have to back out and come back in. FIX YOUR APP. So many people are having similar problems. There's no excuse for such a horrible in app experience. I do appreciate that transferring money still works though. For now at least.

Don't ever use 5/3 ATM for making deposits !! Any mistake made by their machine doesn't get communicated quickly. 5/3 doesn't service their machine deposits daily ! They depend on you to monitor any balance discrepancies. Then they will charge fees for any overdrafts that occur. You loose ! 5/3 wins ! Go to a teller or use online app deposits. I learned the hard way and am very tempted to leave 5/3 banking.

The app has not been letting me log in for weeks. Tried to contact support, but they were no help. They told me to use the website, which is useless info when I need the functions on the app... like check deposit. I have called twice and both times, once after talking to a representative who was transferring me, I have eventually been met with a busy tone.

completely unreliable, often locks me out despite putting in my exact account information, the website is always down too, and customer service just asks repeatedly if I've tried using the app instead of calling them, and here we are again: the app still doesn't let me in or it crashes the second I'm in, or any other obstacles I've faced with it. so then their suggestion to make things easier for me is to open another account with them. I'd rather get caught in a payday loan cycle.

It is the worst. Too many redundant "authorization" steps, only some of which actually work. Zelle is now inoperable for that same reason. Have spent hours on the phone trying to get this fixed. Getting through to an actual customer service person can entail an hour or more wait time. Once you do get through, expect multiple transfers to "someone who can help"
