4.7 The FNB Banking App is a robust financial tool that offers a variety of features designed to enhance your banking experience. Here are some of the core highlights that make this app stand out:
My daily life is intertwined with the FNB Banking App, and I find myself using it in various scenarios. For instance, every Friday, I check my account balance to ensure I have enough funds for the weekend. Whether I’m planning a dinner out with friends or a spontaneous shopping trip, the app gives me real-time access to my finances. Additionally, during the month-end, I utilize the budgeting tools to review my spending and adjust my budget for the upcoming month. This proactive approach has helped me stay on top of my finances and avoid overspending.
The user interface of the FNB Banking App is sleek and intuitive. Upon opening the app, I’m greeted with a clean dashboard that displays my account balances and recent transactions at a glance. Navigating through the app is a breeze; I can easily access different features through the bottom navigation bar. The performance is impressive, with quick load times and smooth transitions between screens. I particularly appreciate the personalized notifications that keep me informed about my spending patterns and upcoming bills. Overall, my experience with the app has been overwhelmingly positive, as it combines functionality with a user-friendly design.
The FNB Banking App is free to download and use, which is a significant advantage for users looking for a cost-effective banking solution. However, it’s essential to note that while the app itself is free, standard banking fees may apply depending on the transactions you perform, such as international transfers or ATM withdrawals. Overall, the value it provides far outweighs any potential costs associated with banking services.
The FNB Banking App is regularly updated to enhance functionality and security. I’ve noticed improvements in the app’s performance and the addition of new features over time, which shows the developers’ commitment to providing a top-notch user experience. Customer support is readily available through the app, and I’ve found the response times to be quick and helpful. Whether I have a technical question or need assistance with a transaction, the support team is just a chat away, making me feel valued as a customer.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when it comes to banking apps. The FNB Banking App is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During the registration process, I was required to provide personal information, including my name, email address, and phone number, which is standard for banking apps. However, I appreciate that the app employs two-factor authentication, adding an extra layer of security to my account.
In terms of ads and tracking behavior, I have not encountered intrusive advertisements while using the app. It appears that FNB prioritizes user experience over aggressive marketing tactics. Additionally, the app does not track my location or personal data beyond what is necessary for banking purposes, which is reassuring. Overall, I feel confident in the security measures implemented by the FNB Banking App, allowing me to manage my finances with peace of mind.

Was a good and easy app to use. Now my accounts are all piled in to one section. Clerk told me that my phone was not verified, we checked and it was verified. My accounts are all still bunched together. Also Stupid that you cant turn off the popups or whatever it is that comes up when you log in, would much more prefer to just get to my accounts when login in, instead off pressing "got it" first. Make it the user's choice

Never knew this app could get worse. The most unreliable banking app I've had from 4 different ones. More "system unavailable" errors than anything else. Always limited functionality & ebucks problems, too much of a headache to deal with complaining all the time when monitoring should have picked up problems, you would expect someone to fix it but nothing. Seems like the broken features could stay for years, been a year for me already. Probably logged more issue's than the entire QA department

Extremely bad app functionality with S25 Ultra. When ever do you guys plan on fixing the app functionality in regards to the S25 Ultea fone? My app does not allow me to do anything. I can't link my phone to my account with geolocation, It says successfull and a few seconds later it says failed. I can't use the app on my phone! Even when doing secured chat, I get pop up msgs from the service advisors when I chat but in the chat window there is nothing going on. The app is horrible!

FNB is not bad as a bank but the app is cluttered, overloaded with useless advertisements and features. Some information should just be on the website. Users know where to look. Pop ups are also annoying at login. It rarely goes directly to home screen without showing some loans, savings, investments. I need the app to do what I want it to do, not what it thinks.

I unfortunately have to give this app another one star. Payment history of beneficiaries is not updated with subsequent transactions. For eg, pay a beneficiary monthly, but the app still shows last year's payment. I was hoping to get details of a beneficiary from last month's transactions, ie 30th June. It doesn't appear. I understand transactions, especially EFTs, not cleared but they should still reflect on the payment history. This unfortunately is not the case with this app.
