4.8 Gardenscapes is not just another match-3 puzzle game; it’s a delightful blend of gardening, storytelling, and character interaction that keeps players engaged. Here are some of the standout features that make this app a must-try:
As a busy professional, I often find myself looking for a quick escape during my lunch breaks or after a long day at work. Gardenscapes has become my go-to app for these moments. I usually pull it out while waiting for my coffee to brew or during my commute. The game’s short levels allow me to enjoy a satisfying puzzle without needing to invest too much time. I can easily pick up where I left off, making it perfect for my on-the-go lifestyle.
The user interface of Gardenscapes is bright, colorful, and inviting. Navigating through the app is a breeze, with clear icons and intuitive controls. The feature workflow is seamless; I can quickly switch between solving puzzles and managing my garden. The animations are smooth, and the sound effects add a delightful touch to the gameplay. After using the app for several weeks, I can confidently say that it’s not just a game; it’s an experience that brings joy and relaxation. The satisfaction of completing a level and seeing my garden flourish is incredibly rewarding.
Gardenscapes is free to download and play, but it does offer in-app purchases for those who want to enhance their experience. I’ve found that while you can enjoy the game without spending a dime, purchasing boosters or extra lives can be tempting, especially when you’re stuck on a challenging level. The pricing is reasonable, and I appreciate that the game allows players to progress at their own pace, whether they choose to spend money or not.
The developers of Gardenscapes are committed to keeping the game fresh and engaging. Regular updates introduce new levels, events, and features, which I find exciting. Whenever I encounter a bug or issue, the support team is responsive and helpful, ensuring that my gaming experience remains smooth. I appreciate the attention to detail and the ongoing improvements that make the game even more enjoyable.
As an American user, I take my security and privacy seriously, and I’m pleased to report that Gardenscapes addresses these concerns effectively. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards. When registering, I was only required to provide basic information, which is a relief compared to other apps that ask for excessive personal data.
While the game does feature ads, they are not overly intrusive, and I have the option to purchase an ad-free experience if I choose. Additionally, Gardenscapes does not track my behavior outside the app, which is a significant plus for me. Overall, I feel secure using Gardenscapes, knowing that my personal information is protected while I enjoy my gardening adventure.

Downgraded from 5 stars to 1. I've been playing this game from its launch, 8 years ago. Just as I was thinking their unannounced changes couldn't get any worse, they did. You now only receive 10 coins (plus a few more if you have any moves or boosters left) to complete a level - down from 50! For those who have never played, to buy just 5 extra moves to complete a level costs 900 coins! It was already extremely difficult. Playrix, you are losing many long-term players. I guess you don't care

Fun, until it's impossible to beat levels without spending coins. I also play Homescapes, and the best part about that game vs. this game, is when there's a level that is impossibly hard, and you keep trying to beat the level over and over, eventually the level gets easier to help you beat it. Gardenscapes does NOT do this. I have played the same level over 20 times, using all the power ups, and only spending coins on several life refills, and still can't beat the levels. Not fun.

Quite good. This is the only game I've always come back to. I've had it for years now and still play it. *update in 2026. Recent changes to gameplay (complete revamp of game) are terrible. The power-ups, the texture, and the animations. All the extras, (bird hatching, cards, etc) are annoying, but most of all I hate having Austin face in the corner, emoting. Yuck! I will probably delete the game since all the changes have me avoiding the game instead of playing. Sad to go.

This game is no longer fun. As you go up levels, you feel pressured to buy power ups. Even the $.99 pack gets expensive after a while. It's so ridiculous! The new power ups are so lame too. There's a difference between challenging games and ones that make you stressed. They use addictive tactics to keep playing. I am close to uninstalling the game, even though I spent money throughout the time.

After 19,000+ levels, I'm giving up playing. This game has steadily gotten worse. From gameplay that requires boosters to win a level, to "easy" levels that are anything but, to erosion of boosters, - the latest being a reduction of starter boosters - the devs have enshittified what was a once fun game. It's now boring, frustrating, and unrewarding. I don't plan to return to gameplay and I definitely do not recommend this game at this point. Save your time and your money.
