4.5 Google Opinion Rewards is a unique app that allows users to earn rewards by sharing their opinions through surveys. Here are some of its standout features:
Using Google Opinion Rewards has become a part of my daily routine. I often find myself using the app during my commute or while waiting for appointments. For example, just last week, I was sitting in a waiting room when a notification popped up, inviting me to take a quick survey about a recent online shopping experience. I completed it in under a minute and earned a few cents, which felt like a nice bonus for my time. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the app sometimes prompts me to provide feedback on local businesses I’ve visited, which makes me feel more connected to my community.
The user interface of Google Opinion Rewards is incredibly intuitive. Upon opening the app, I’m greeted with a clean dashboard that displays my earnings and available surveys. The workflow is straightforward: I simply tap on a survey, read the questions, and submit my answers. The performance is seamless; I’ve never experienced any lag or crashes, which is a huge plus. Overall, using the app feels rewarding—not just in terms of monetary gain, but also in knowing that my opinions contribute to market research. The satisfaction of seeing my earnings accumulate is a delightful bonus!
Google Opinion Rewards is completely free to use, which is one of its most appealing aspects. There are no hidden fees or subscriptions, and the only investment required is a bit of your time to complete surveys. The rewards I’ve earned have ranged from a few cents to a couple of dollars, which I can use for apps, games, or even in-app purchases. It’s a win-win situation!
The app is regularly updated to improve user experience and fix any bugs. I’ve noticed that new features are often added based on user feedback, which shows that the developers are listening to their audience. In terms of support, Google provides a comprehensive FAQ section within the app, and I’ve found their customer service responsive when I had a question about my account. Overall, I feel confident that any issues I encounter will be addressed promptly.
As an American user, security and privacy are always top of mind when using apps like Google Opinion Rewards. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During registration, I was required to provide minimal personal information, which I appreciated. The app primarily uses my location data to send relevant surveys, but I have control over what information I share. I’ve also noticed that Google is transparent about their data usage policies, which helps alleviate concerns about ads or tracking behavior. Overall, I feel secure using the app, knowing that my data is handled responsibly.

Feb 2026 review: Years later, I still use the rewards app, but they almost never ask opinions anymore, they mostly want me to upload receipts. ___So it's not as much fun as it used to be, It doesn't give me as much credit as it used to either. 2021 review: I love participating and earning . I just answer a few short questions, and earn Google Play credit. I can rent/buy movies and buy games and apps. I love music and I've even earned enough to purchase more than a few complete CD's.

It's a pretty good app and I use the money for in-app purchases on games that I play however I'm only giving it four stars because it goes through periods of time where it doesn't even pick up where I've been to ask me for receipts, sometimes it works every time I leave the house and sometimes it doesn't work for days like at the current moment. If they could fix those bugs I would definitely give it five stars

As of late it's been taking hours, sometimes days, for it to ask me for receipts for places I have visited. It used to ask me for this while I was in the middle of running errands. That aside, this is an easy way to get some extra Google Play credit on the side. In my case, I use this to help pay for YouTube Premium. I just hope they can fix the issues related to timing for requesting receipts and also consider upping the amount of the credit they give.

Lately there has been a pop up that says "qualify for more rewards - personalize surveys based on timeline" and no matter how many times I click "allow", nothing changes and I'm not getting any more surveys. I've used this app for years but this is a persistent issue now for weeks and it's getting irritating that I'm missing out on surveys because of this issue.

It does add to your Google account, and like I saw someone else post, I use it for in-app purchases. It is adding some new updates today for me, so I hope this helps my issue. I have the exact location on and still keeps asking me about places I never went to or are not even located in my city...so I get 0.10$ added. If it actually asked me about a local place, which is rare lately, I'll get a better amount.
