3.9 Google Pay: Save and Pay is not just a payment app; it’s a comprehensive financial tool that simplifies how we manage our money. Here are some of its standout features:
My journey with Google Pay began when I was looking for a more efficient way to manage my daily transactions. One of the first scenarios where I found the app invaluable was during a weekend trip with friends. We decided to explore a new city, and instead of fumbling with cash or multiple cards, I simply used Google Pay to pay for everything from meals to souvenirs. The convenience of not having to carry cash or worry about losing my cards made the experience much more enjoyable.
Another scenario that stands out is when I had to pay for a group dinner. Instead of collecting cash from everyone, I used the bill-splitting feature. It was a breeze to send my friends their share right from the app, and they appreciated the ease of settling up without any hassle. This feature has become a go-to for me whenever I’m out with friends.
The user interface of Google Pay is sleek and intuitive. Upon opening the app, I’m greeted with a clean dashboard that displays my recent transactions, available offers, and spending categories. Navigating through the app is straightforward, and I appreciate how quickly I can access the features I use most often. The payment process is seamless; I simply select the payment method, enter the amount, and confirm with my fingerprint. It’s fast and efficient, which is exactly what I need in my busy life.
Performance-wise, the app has been reliable. I’ve encountered minimal lag, even during peak usage times. The notifications for offers and transactions are timely and relevant, which keeps me engaged with the app. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I find myself relying on Google Pay more and more for my financial transactions.
One of the best aspects of Google Pay is that it’s completely free to use. There are no hidden fees for transactions, which is a significant advantage over some other payment apps. While certain features, like cash-back offers, may depend on specific merchants, the core functionalities of sending and receiving money, making payments, and managing finances come at no cost. This makes it an attractive option for anyone looking to streamline their financial activities without breaking the bank.
Google Pay is regularly updated, which is a testament to Google’s commitment to improving user experience and security. I’ve noticed enhancements in features and performance with each update, making the app even more user-friendly. In terms of support, Google provides a comprehensive help center within the app, along with a responsive customer service team. I had a minor issue once, and their support team was quick to assist me, resolving my concern in no time. This level of support adds to my overall satisfaction with the app.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when it comes to financial apps. Google Pay is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, including my phone number and email address, which is standard for most financial apps.
One of the standout features of Google Pay is its commitment to user privacy. The app does not display my full card number during transactions, which adds an extra layer of security. Additionally, Google Pay does not engage in intrusive ads or excessive tracking behavior, which is a relief in today’s digital landscape. I feel confident that my financial data is secure and that my privacy is respected while using the app.

I love the app! Not to mention being unable to use the app when it's syncing because its literally stop responding until it's done✔! The app is easy to use and you can sing with people from around the world. This is syncing happens pretty much every time so was quite happy to find out that I fell into those lower registries that lI wanted. The app is so much faster download. You'd stop an entry and it'd be several seconds before it'd actually stop and those extra seconds are added too the entry.

I love the app! Big thanks to everyone behind the algorithms. It's way faster now, and downloads feel super smooth and stable. Before, syncing happened almost every time I opened, started, stopped, or edited an entry, which made it frustrating to use. I absolutely love the app! It's insanely fast now, and downloads. You'd stop an entry and wait several seconds before it actually stopped, adding extra time. Plus, the app would freeze while syncing and wouldn't respond at all until it finished.!!

problem with payment history. can't see all recived payments from sender. for example: i received 11 payment but only showing 3. so many options in transaction history can't set specific settings to my preference everytime i have to change things in settings to get details (let's say I want see recived payments then i have to set under 200 or 200 to 500 even after that, as i mentioned earlier I can't get full details

Overall, the experience with the app is good. However, I noticed an issue with contact suggestions in the search bar. A few months ago, I made a payment through Google Pay to a number that was not saved in my phone directory. Today, I deleted the transaction history, but when I tap on the search bar, that contact still appears in the suggested list with the same name. Since the number is not saved in my contacts, there should be an option to remove such temporary suggestions.

if there was a rating lower than one star, that's what I'll rate this app. never put your money in gpay lite. in case you delete your gpay service (cz lost sim), they don't send the money back to your linked account as they should, I've lost 5000 rs and the customer service is terrible, their e-mails are vague and incessantly keep asking for contact number to solve an issue that can easily be sorted over email. Will never recommend this app to anyone and definitely won't use it myself either.
