4.7 As a busy professional, I often find myself looking for ways to unwind after a long day. "Heroes vs Hordes: Survival RPG" has become my go-to app for relaxation. I typically play during my commute or while waiting for appointments. The game’s quick sessions allow me to dive into a battle or complete a quest without needing to invest hours at a time. One memorable instance was during a long wait at the doctor’s office; I managed to defeat a challenging boss and earn some valuable loot, which made the wait feel productive and enjoyable.
The user interface of "Heroes vs Hordes" is intuitive and visually appealing. Navigating through the menus is straightforward, and I appreciate how the game provides clear instructions for new players. The graphics are vibrant, and the animations during combat are smooth, enhancing the overall experience. I particularly enjoyed the feature that allows players to easily switch between heroes, which kept the gameplay fresh. Performance-wise, I encountered minimal lag, even during intense battles, which speaks volumes about the app’s optimization. Overall, my feelings after using the app are overwhelmingly positive; it’s a delightful escape that keeps me coming back for more.
"Heroes vs Hordes: Survival RPG" is free to download, which is a significant plus for anyone hesitant to invest in a new game. However, it does offer in-app purchases for cosmetic items and boosts. I found that while these purchases can enhance the experience, they are not necessary to enjoy the game fully. The balance between free content and paid options is well-maintained, allowing players to progress without feeling pressured to spend money.
The developers of "Heroes vs Hordes" are proactive in providing updates and support. I’ve noticed regular patches that fix bugs and introduce new content, which keeps the game engaging. Additionally, the support team is responsive; I reached out with a question about a feature and received a helpful reply within a day. This level of commitment to player satisfaction is commendable and adds to the overall positive experience.
When it comes to security and privacy, "Heroes vs Hordes: Survival RPG" is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which reassures users about its legitimacy. The app requires basic registration, asking for a username and email, but it does not demand excessive personal information, which is a relief for privacy-conscious players. I appreciate that the game does not bombard me with ads, and any tracking behavior seems minimal, focusing instead on enhancing the gameplay experience. Overall, I feel secure using the app, knowing that my data is handled responsibly.

It's a fun game, but it's the sort of gae that gives you a lot of events and even more ways to pay money to achieve the goals of the events. it seems, after a week of playing, that it's impossible to achieve anything meaningful without a huge investment. You'll never "free" the new characters without buying gems, you'll never mine enough gold without buying gems. I did pay to go ad-free and had I not done so I doubt I'd have played as long as I did. I'd have continued if they were less greedy.

Fun game, obnoxious ads. game play is great, but the amount, length, and structure of the ads are some of the worst I have come across in a game. Especially when you get the double ads as you have to cancel out of the first ad to get to the second and then if your not on top of it the second ad runs way over the time required to get the Reward. if you want no ads $20, yes $20. Never gonna pay that much to remove ads. maybe $5. Update knocked rating down another star. Ads are getting even worse.

Update: The game has fallen into "whaling" strategies. What used to be fun is now a pointless grind. ALL event heroes can NOT be promoted or leveled up beyond a certain point without real money. That's a scam. You often get hero shards for heroes you don't have, making progress slow. That's a scam. The only way to unlock missed heroes is by a .5% spin the wheel event. That's a scam. You can purchase a max priced pack for $109.99, but that is no guarantee. That's a MASSIVE gambling scam.

1st day playing but so far so good. the ads arent nearly as bad as people say. you get to choose whether you want to watch them or not for certain incentives. but if you were havin a day, and didn't want to watch any ads whatsoever you could do so if you so choose. which is nice because theyre not forced upon you. the most recent game I stopped playing would randomly spring them up mid level and stop gameplay, up to 10 times per game, so this is nice in comparison.

The game conceptually is very fun, cute art style and lots of things to do. But it is SO disgustingly predatory with its monetization. Unless you get insane RNG, which i thankfully have twice now it is IMPOSSIBLE to get new characters. Currency based events do not last long enough to get the amount needed for a hero, unless you spend gems, but the ratio of how much it takes to buy a dice or pickaxe is pathetic. I have many more complaints, but letter limit. TLDR too many ads, no leeway/freebie
