Pricing

The "iHeart: Music, Radio, Podcasts" app is free to download and use, which is a significant advantage for budget-conscious users. However, there is a premium subscription option available that offers an ad-free experience and additional features like unlimited skips and offline listening. I find the free version to be quite sufficient for my needs, but the premium features are tempting for those who want an enhanced experience.

The app is regularly updated, ensuring that users have access to the latest features and improvements. I appreciate the responsiveness of the support team, as I once encountered a minor issue with my playlist syncing. I reached out to customer support, and they resolved my issue promptly, which left me feeling valued as a user. Security & Privacy Review

As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and "iHeart: Music, Radio, Podcasts" takes these concerns seriously. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, such as my email address, which is standard for most apps. However, I appreciate that the app allows users to customize their privacy settings, giving me control over what data I share.

Regarding ads and tracking behavior, the free version of the app does include advertisements, which is expected. However, I noticed that the ads are not overly intrusive, and they do not significantly disrupt my listening experience. I really like this app. the ads aren't annoying, you can listen to the radio or mix a Playlist, or listen to podcasts. My only question is why would I do a subscription for being able to choose my music if I can just download songs for free on an app like Spotify or trebel? also, when I do live radio, it is like 30 seconds lagged. I would recommend getting this if you mainly want to listen to podcasts or radios.

I mentioned in a review earlier this year that they've been periodically removing albums on this app which makes it impossible to access tracks from them anymore, but I just recently checked certain Artist Playlists and discovered that not only are there more missing albums, but albums whose tracks are all missing! I don't know why all this is happening but it's clear to me that things haven't gotten any better. I think it might be time to try another music streaming app for a change.

Stops playback when you put your phone to sleep, under the guise of "buffering" and as soon as you unlock your phone to try to restart the app, it starts playing again. update: this app still sucks. it will play ads more than music/radio. suddenly stops playing when listening to radio, but has no problem playing ads. and more ads. and more ads. and more ads. 0/10 would recommend. update: it keeps getting worse. plays ads just fine, doesn't play radio.

This is the only music service that's good as the free version but I have a suggestions: 1 Put the full name of a song (album name, version, remaster, etc.) when searching for new songs 2 Let free users look at recently played songs (even if we can't play them 3 Sometimes the music just stops completely and I have to restart my play list. Normally that'd be fine but it happens too often not to be an annoyance, so fix that please. otherwise, great service

I like listening to podcasts on this app. I really wish there was a sort function in the "downloaded episodes" section. I want to be able to sort them by date and shortest to longest. I can see others wanting to be able to sort by show. The only way to sort is manually one at a time which takes awhile and is annoying. Having at least the option to sort by date would be amazing and bump this to a 5 star app.
