Great music, great visuals, puzzles progressively get harder. I really like how you can play in any orientation! Also, when you are at the part where it asks you to rate limelight, if you pick ★☆☆☆☆, it will let you write a personal email to the creator telling them what they can improve. The creator really put effort into this game, highly recommend.

Awesomely different puzzle game! You move a light along a line from one place to another to proceed forward. This is such a simple idea, but it's fun, entertaining, and challenging. I've only just started playing but the puzzles are already thought provoking. You really have to think ahead and plan how you're going to get the light from point A to point B. This is a good brain exercise to play while you're waiting and/or want to pass time.

Saw the GDC talk. Great lessons. Now that I'm playing the game where those lessons come from can't help but notice how well they are all applied. Limelight gets 5 stars from me because it goes above what a puzzle game (on mobile) normally is, in terms of presentation, tone, and other aspects. The controls for the port are also clever. And designing it so it can be played in any orientation without screen rotation, also clever.

This is a beautiful, simple, and enjoyable game. The puzzles aren't majorly challenging, but they are interesting and fun to solve. The mobile controls also are very simple to use. They don't have the responsiveness of a keyboard or controller, but that's to be expected, and thus far the levels requiring timing haven't been hampered by the controls. The aesthetic, including the gentle piano and percussion track, adds to the relaxing feel. A great indie game!

The gameplay and puzzle design is amazing, and I'm sure on other platforms with a keyboard or game controller the game is a lot of fun, but the mobile control scheme is unbelievably bad and there are a lot of late game puzzles (especially those with magnet lines and clone lines) that require precise timing and control that is virtually impossible on mobile. If you're thinking of purchasing this game do yourself a favor and buy it on Steam instead.
