yet another example of "thing I paid money for no longer works" this was a great port of a great game, it's now unplayable. if I buy something, I own it. that goes for games, books, movies etc. but you have examples like this, where the surrounding OS updates make something unusable, and other examples where licensing makes streaming services pull movies from their apps, once I have money I've decided I'm buying a ps2 on eBay, modern gaming isn't worth the hassle.

As of now, this game will get to the main menu and then crash out immediately after. If you can even get to gameplay, it lasts for a few seconds before the app crashes every time. This is unplayable. An update needs to fix this. If this becomes playable again however, this game is amazing. An absolute classic on PC, and the story and gameplay is so much fun. If only Rockstar would update this to work again.

Sadly, like everyone said, its not playable anymore. When it worked, it was a decent and fun port, even though it was missing certain graphical features (ejected shell casings when firing, magazines dropping when reloading, character shadows, etc.). However, it's been unplayable for a LONG time, and it's not likely to get fixed considering that it was last updated in 2019. However, they did recently fix GTA 3s crashing at launch. don't know if they patched the game or if an android update did it

"IT'S PAYNE! WHACK 'EM!" - Punchinello Mobster (2001) Max Payne is perhaps one of my favorite games of all time. I play nearly every year around Christmastime, and I have never once gotten bored. This port for Android phones is literal perfection. While I could do without the distracting Social Club nonsense, the experience as a whole is PC perfect. The controls take some getting used to, but they're easy to get used to or tweak. "A bit closer to heaven." - Max Payne (2001)

By far the best way to play Max Payne on modern devices. Unlike the original PC version, this works straight out of the box. Of course, the controls for the game aren't exactly optimized for touch screens since it was clearly designed with a mouse & keyboard in mind. It's a bit rough to play due to that, but luckily you can adjust auto-aim. Great port of a great classic.
