4.6 My journey with Meta Horizon began when I was looking for a way to connect with friends during the pandemic. We decided to host a virtual game night, and Meta Horizon became our go-to platform. The immersive environments made it feel like we were actually together, even though we were miles apart. I also use the app for casual meetups, where I can unwind in my custom café space, sipping virtual coffee while chatting with friends. Additionally, I’ve attended virtual workshops and seminars, which have been incredibly engaging and interactive, allowing me to learn in a fun environment.
The user interface of Meta Horizon is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon launching the app, I was greeted with a vibrant home screen that made navigation a breeze. The onboarding process was smooth, guiding me through the various features without overwhelming me. I particularly appreciate the ease of customizing my avatar; it felt like a fun extension of my personality. The performance has been stellar, with minimal lag during gameplay and social interactions. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, as the app consistently delivers engaging content and a sense of community.
Meta Horizon operates on a freemium model, which means that while the app is free to download and use, there are optional in-app purchases available. I found that the free version offers plenty of features to keep me entertained, but I occasionally splurge on premium items to enhance my avatar or customize my virtual space further. This pricing structure allows users to enjoy the app without feeling pressured to spend money, making it accessible to a wider audience.
Meta Horizon is regularly updated, with new features and improvements rolled out frequently. I’ve noticed enhancements in performance and new content that keeps the experience fresh. The support team is responsive and helpful; I once encountered a minor issue with my avatar customization, and they resolved it quickly. The app also has a robust community forum where users can share tips and report issues, fostering a sense of collaboration among users.
As an American user, I take security and privacy seriously, and I was pleased to find that Meta Horizon is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During registration, I was required to provide basic personal information, but the app clearly outlines its privacy policy, ensuring users know how their data is used. I appreciate that Meta Horizon does not bombard users with ads, which can often feel intrusive. Instead, the app focuses on providing a seamless experience without excessive tracking behavior. Overall, I feel secure using Meta Horizon, knowing that my personal data is handled responsibly.

The app does what it's supposed to for the most part. It's just slow as sin. I can stream 4k video from YouTube off my data just fine. This takes me about 5 minutes to load 2 seconds of 1080p video. It takes forever to download the videos as well and sometimes will just stop in the middle of downloading. This should be convenient but it's less of a hassle to just upload footage to Google drive through the headset's browser than using the official app. It's a shame.

App is garbage. I get notifications for messages, but they won't load. My whole message list won't load. It just keeps saying "catching up, just a moment" and nothing ever happens. It's been like this for a long time. I've tried unisntalling, clearing data, and nothing works.

good app, does what its supposed to, but i have one major issue. the navigation buttons need to be able to slide down so I can press buttons. I have to turn my phone all the way up to hear my friend on a call because I cant access the speakerphone button. major issue, an dif its fixed, I'll write a better review. if its a problem on my end, I would love to know how to fix it

Zuckerberg is cruel to have purchased the app Supernatural and then decide to close the studio so no new content is being made. The only reason I own a Quest is for fitness, and Supernatural is the only app I use. I'm not alone, this is the most popular fitness app in Meta Horizon. It has changed numerous lives. I don't use it often enough, but I'm glad to pay the subscription to have access to it. The use of VR for Fitness is way under appreciated and not enough people know about it.

The concept of the app is cool, but it has so many glitches. It causes my phone to randomly cut off, it freezes when I click on people's profiles, and pushing the back button on the phone backs you out of the entire app sometimes. I can let the freezing pass if it happens every once in a while, but it happens almost everytime I use the app, and I can't play any games without glitches. The cast feature is cool though.
