4.9 The NatWest Mobile Banking app is a powerful tool designed to make banking easier and more accessible for its users. With a range of features that cater to everyday banking needs, it stands out in the crowded mobile banking landscape. Here are some of its core features:
As a busy professional, I often find myself juggling multiple tasks throughout the day. The NatWest Mobile Banking app has become an essential part of my daily routine. For instance, during my morning commute, I typically check my account balance to ensure I have enough funds for the day’s expenses. On weekends, I use the budgeting tools to review my spending from the previous week, helping me stay on track with my financial goals. Additionally, when I need to send money to friends for shared expenses, I can do so quickly and securely through the app, making social outings much easier.
The user interface of the NatWest Mobile Banking app is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon opening the app, I am greeted with a clean layout that makes navigation a breeze. The main dashboard displays my account balances prominently, and accessing other features is straightforward. I appreciate the smooth workflow when making payments or transferring money; the app guides me through each step without overwhelming me with options. Performance-wise, the app is responsive, with minimal loading times, which is crucial when I’m in a hurry. Overall, my experience has been positive, and I feel confident managing my finances through this app.
The NatWest Mobile Banking app is free to download and use for all NatWest account holders. There are no hidden fees associated with using the app for standard banking services, which is a significant advantage. However, it’s essential to be aware of any fees related to specific transactions, such as international transfers, which may apply depending on your account type.
NatWest regularly updates its mobile banking app to enhance functionality and security. I’ve noticed improvements in the user interface and the addition of new features over time, which shows the bank’s commitment to providing a top-notch banking experience. If I ever encounter issues, the customer support is readily available through the app, offering assistance via chat or phone. This level of support gives me peace of mind knowing that help is just a few taps away.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when it comes to banking apps. The NatWest Mobile Banking app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During the registration process, I was required to provide personal data, including my name, address, and account details, which is standard for banking apps. However, I appreciate that the app employs robust encryption methods to protect my information.
Moreover, I have not encountered any intrusive ads or tracking behavior while using the app, which is a significant plus. The app focuses on providing a seamless banking experience without compromising my privacy. Overall, I feel secure using the NatWest Mobile Banking app, knowing that my financial information is well-protected.

This app used to be great, but poor implementation of multfactor for "security" has now resulted in me not being able to make any payments. i work outside the UK for part of the year. My app is secured with my fingerprint on a non-UK phone. all of a sudden i need to have both my number registered (why, i had to go through verification when i set up the app!?), and it needs to send me a text message (why, app logged in). Cant add a number without a card reader which i do not have. Dreadful.

app, or the bank, has become extremely slow over the years. they used to be very quick, streamlined and just generally smooth. transactions used to update your balance pretty much straight away or a day later max. now its increasing frustrating. takes a few days at most and the worse of it is your balance you see on the app does not include your pending transactions. so you need to get a calculater out if you wana know the true reflection. issue is its now more than a day, most times 2-3.

They keep changing the user interface - it used to be fine but the last few updates have just made it worse. It takes several taps to get to payments and the text is smaller. It's hard to know what's going on. And I'm supposed to be a 'tech savvy millennial'. Cheque function is temperamental but I don't need to use this often.

why in the actual world do you make it SO hard to transfer from my current account to pay off my NATWEST CREDIT CARD!? It's almost as if you don't want anyone to be able to easily to do so, so you can charge extra interest on monies that want to be paid off! Definitely balance transferring back to Halifax, they make it so easy to pay a lump sum.

Can't use a password manager to log in so I have to just remember the 8 digit customer number AND the exact order of every character of my 16 character password (which, being secure and randomly generated, is not an easy task) so I can pick out 3 of them at random. Then, after wasting all this time, I can't set up biometric approval because "something went wrong", very descriptive! very helpful!!
