4.5 As a busy professional, I often find myself looking for a quick escape from the daily grind. "Project Makeover" has become my go-to app during my lunch breaks or while waiting for appointments. I can dive into a makeover challenge for just a few minutes, transforming a character's look while solving match-3 puzzles. Whether I’m on the subway or relaxing at home, the app fits seamlessly into my routine, providing a delightful distraction that rejuvenates my mind.
The user interface of "Project Makeover" is vibrant and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. Upon launching the app, I’m greeted with colorful graphics and engaging animations that set a cheerful tone. The workflow is straightforward: I select a character, tackle a puzzle, and then use the resources earned to customize their look. The puzzles are well-designed, with varying levels of difficulty that keep me challenged without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, my experience has been positive; the app runs smoothly, and I appreciate the balance between gameplay and character development.
"Project Makeover" is free to download and play, which is a significant plus. However, like many free-to-play games, it offers in-app purchases for additional resources and cosmetic items. I’ve found that while it’s tempting to spend money to speed up progress, the game is entirely enjoyable without making any purchases. The option to play at my own pace is a refreshing aspect that I truly appreciate.
The developers of "Project Makeover" are proactive in providing updates and support. I’ve noticed regular updates that introduce new characters, outfits, and seasonal events, which keeps the game feeling fresh and exciting. Additionally, the support team is responsive; I once encountered a minor glitch and reached out for help. They addressed my concern promptly, which left me feeling valued as a player.
As an American user, I prioritize security and privacy when using mobile apps. "Project Makeover" is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. Upon registration, the app requires basic personal data, such as an email address, but it does not ask for sensitive information, which is reassuring. I appreciate that the app has a clear privacy policy outlining how my data is used and protected.
While playing, I’ve noticed ads that are typical for free-to-play games, but they are not overly intrusive. The app does track some behavior to personalize ads, but I have not experienced any significant privacy concerns. Overall, I feel comfortable using "Project Makeover," knowing that my data is handled responsibly.

Fun game! The levels aren't frustrating, and the fashion aspect of the game is really cute and fun. Just don't expect it to be anything at all like the ads. The only similarity between the ad gameplay and the actual game is the makeover aspect; there's no dramatic revenge story on someone's ex lol, at least not that I've seen.

This is my favorite game! But the weird thing is, the photos it shows here of the gameplay aren't correct. They look like a totally different game. But besides that, I LOVE this game. You play match 3 levels to earn coins, use coins for the makeovers. And you get to do a makeover on the client AND a room. And the best part? NO pop-up ads! There are only ads if you want to watch them for rewards. And the various side games are fun too:) Overall, this is a great game and I highly recommend.

Ads will often freeze or play and then force the game to restart. So you basically just get to watch an ad for no reward. Here lately though, I haven't been given the option to watch ads for extra moves at all. Unfortunate, since that's the only way this game was getting money from me. It also kills my interest in playing.

I'm done with frustrating games; this one is super fun and keeps me playing (so far)! You're not forced to watch ads; you can just watch them for extra rewards if you want. As some have mentioned, the marketing photos/ads aren't accurate. My main issue—and why I give 3 stars—is that if you don’t claim trip rewards, you lose them when the trip ends. It doesn’t pop up every login and since I skip most side quests, I don't think about them until a new one starts and I realize I've lost everything.

I do like this game a lot but unfortunately, big games come with big price tags. The game will give you some initial free powerups every level. You'll sail through 50 levels, finally lose one, and then find out the hard way that the levels aren't actually possible to beat without those powerups. You'll be forced to buy more to continue (or, no joke, spend 30-40 lives to beat one level). On average, expect to spend about $10 USD per 100 levels.
