Whether I’m waiting for a meeting to start or relaxing at home, the app provides a perfect escape into the world of aircraft design. I frequently use it to unwind after a long day, immersing myself in the creative process of building and flying planes. Additionally, I’ve used it to teach my younger siblings about the principles of flight, turning our family game nights into educational experiences.
The user interface of SimplePlanes is remarkably intuitive, making it easy for both beginners and seasoned builders to navigate. The layout is clean, with all the essential tools readily accessible. I particularly appreciate the step-by-step tutorials that guide you through the basics of aircraft design. The performance is smooth, with minimal lag even when I’m working on complex designs. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive; the thrill of watching my creations take flight never gets old, and the satisfaction of tweaking designs for better performance is incredibly rewarding.
SimplePlanes is reasonably priced, offering a one-time purchase option that grants access to all features without any hidden fees. I found the investment worthwhile, especially considering the endless hours of entertainment and creativity it provides. There are occasional in-app purchases for additional content, but I’ve never felt pressured to spend more than the initial cost.
The developers of SimplePlanes are quite active in providing updates and support. I’ve noticed regular updates that introduce new features and fix bugs, which shows their commitment to improving the user experience. Whenever I’ve had questions or encountered issues, the support team has been responsive and helpful, making it easy to resolve any concerns I had.
When it comes to security and privacy, SimplePlanes takes a responsible approach. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. Registration is straightforward, requiring only basic information, which I appreciate as it minimizes the amount of personal data shared.
In terms of ads and tracking behavior, I’ve noticed that SimplePlanes does not bombard users with intrusive advertisements, which enhances the overall experience. The app does collect some data for analytics purposes, but it is done transparently, and I feel comfortable knowing that my privacy is respected. Overall, I believe that SimplePlanes prioritizes user security, making it a safe choice for anyone looking to explore the world of aircraft design.

Absolutely love this game. I have more hours in it than I'd like to admit, and I'm still getting better at it. So many creative things to do and then you can actually fly your creations? No other mobile game I've played offers the same experience. A FEW IMPROVEMENTS: better wheel on ground physics. Currently the tires always slide across the ground even when stationary. We need a way to make camo and other liveries easier.

It's astonishingly good for a mobile game, but could you consider adding more ground based anti air. Just call it a "surface to air missile." I know this may be a longshot, but maybe a nuke to attach to your plane? Edit: I now know about the "overdrive" feature and how you can just use air to air missiles as AA missiles from the ground. However, think about adding a multi-lock missile? So a missile that can lock onto multiple targets at once and split into pieces to fire at the individual locks.

LOVE IT!!! I've had this app for a very long time, has been a mainstay on my devices. Not only does it help you pass enormous blocks of time often, but its also beneficial for helping you to learn the ins and outs of crafting within a 3d computer space. You can also export your creations for 3d printing. So you can bring it into reality. You definitely won't be disappointed with Simple Plsnes.

Overall a great game, though I do have some suggestions. 1.) Re-add mod support. Ever since the 1.9 update, mod support has been removed and I dont really see why. It was working fine, and it made up for the lack of islands that are available to the mobile version. 2.) If your getting rid of mobile mods for good, why dont you add Maywar or the Kraken. Both of those things are in the PC version, but were never added into the mobile one. If one of those things are added, then 5/5 from me.

Definitely a great game. The sandbox mechanics are what drew me to this game. J love being able to design any plans I desire, and even a few creations which are completely unrealistic. The controls are good, though the ability to fire missiles/bombs quicker would be nice. Only wish is that I feel they need a few more parts added in. Some designs are tough to make since the required parts don't exist.
