"Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes" is a strategic role-playing game that immerses players in the iconic Star Wars universe. Assemble a team of legendary characters from across the saga, engage in turn-based battles, and develop your heroes' abilities. Collect and upgrade iconic characters, including Jedi, Sith, and droids, as you embark on epic quests and compete in thrilling PvP battles. Join friends and players worldwide to dominate the galaxy and become a legendary hero!

Features & Highlights

  • Diverse Character Roster: "Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes" boasts an extensive lineup of characters from across the Star Wars universe. Players can collect and upgrade iconic heroes and villains, such as Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader, each with unique abilities. For instance, I recently unlocked Rey, and her powerful Force abilities turned the tide in a challenging battle against a rival guild.
  • Strategic Turn-Based Combat: The game features a turn-based combat system that requires players to think critically about their moves. Each character has specific roles—like tank, damage dealer, or support—which adds layers of strategy. I found myself meticulously planning my team composition before entering a Galactic War, ensuring I had the right mix of characters to counter my opponent's strengths.
  • Regular Events and Challenges: The developers frequently introduce time-limited events and challenges that keep the gameplay fresh and engaging. I participated in a recent event that allowed me to earn exclusive characters and gear, which motivated me to log in daily and complete the associated missions.
  • Guild System: Joining a guild enhances the social aspect of the game, allowing players to collaborate and compete with friends. My guild recently tackled a Territory Battle, and the camaraderie we built while strategizing and sharing resources made the experience even more enjoyable.
  • Stunning Graphics and Sound Design: The game features impressive graphics and sound effects that immerse players in the Star Wars universe. The lightsaber clashes and iconic soundtracks made my battles feel epic, as if I were part of the movies themselves.

Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly on my device, with minimal loading times. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, as the game keeps me engaged and entertained.

Pricing

"Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes" is free to download and play, which is a significant advantage for newcomers. However, there are in-app purchases available for those who wish to expedite their progress or acquire exclusive characters. I’ve noticed that they actively listen to player feedback, which is reassuring. Security & Privacy Review

When it comes to security and privacy, "Star Wars™: Galaxy of Heroes" is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of trustworthiness. Upon registration, the app requires basic personal data, such as an email address, but it does not ask for overly sensitive information. I appreciate that the game does not bombard me with ads, and while there is some tracking behavior for in-game analytics, it feels standard for mobile games. Overall, I feel secure using the app, knowing that my data is handled responsibly.

Not terrible. I mean, you can't find a single game these days that doesn't have some kind of microtransaction. The sad truth. Other than it constantly trying to take money from you, I'm actually really happy there are clone troopers! They even have Kix! I am trying to get them all but it is so difficult, Because, once again, microtransactions. I don't play it much anymore, but I occasionally find myself ridiculously upgrading my favourite characters with no tactic. overall, fun for a bit.

The cost is extremely high for the barrier to entry and it will be years before a free to play player can be competitive at all. Micro-transactions are now 25-50$, and that doesn't include the zetas for the characters most of the time. There are catch-up mechanics, but they don't even get you to the entry-level. If you have an old account, you are locked in with people who have been playing for 10+ years and you mineaswell start over to get into a new-player friendly group.

MADE FOR WHALES. This game is extremely frustrating to get things in a free to play manner. Unless you want to be frustrated with a paywall, or really like Star Wars, might be advantageous to look elsewhere. It's really a shame how they've made the game so much more difficult to obtain anything without paying a stupid amount of money. Riddled with microtransactions. Stopped playing after 4-5 years because of how bad it is.

my issues with the game: 1. Datacrons are time limited and you can pay for them. 2. You run out of energy before getting any high rank piece of gear. 3. Shards for capital ships are time gated. 4. not enough credits given to the player. 5. slightly over 6mil to level up 1 character. 6. same costs for ships. 7. Get a galactic legend, but have to unlock the abilities and level it like your other characters. 8. Not enough zeta/omnicron opportunities. 9. Drop rates for character shards are low.

What was once my most played game, (and money hole) is now nothing more than a grindfest with little rewarding gameplay anymore. I spent a ridiculous amount of money on this game over the course of almost 10 years, and the recent changes and coliseum have degraded the experience so far, that I rarely open the app anymore. The only reason I haven't deleted it yet, is because I haven't come to terms with the fact that I spent thousands of dollars on this game, and I essentially hate it now.
