3.9 As a train enthusiast, I often find myself looking for ways to indulge my passion, and "State Railroad: Train Game" has become a staple in my daily routine. I typically play during my commute, using the app to unwind after a long day at work. Whether I’m waiting for my train or sitting in a coffee shop, I can easily dive into a quick session, transporting cargo or passengers across various routes. The main menu is straightforward, with clear options for single-player and multiplayer modes. Once in the game, the controls are responsive, allowing for smooth operation of the trains. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. Moreover, the app does not bombard users with excessive ads, which can often be a concern with free games. I noticed a few ads, but they were not intrusive and did not disrupt my gameplay. Importantly, the app does not engage in aggressive tracking behavior, which is a significant consideration for American users who are increasingly concerned about their online privacy. Overall, I feel secure using "State Railroad: Train Game," knowing that my personal data is handled with care.

It was a cute game. HOWEVER. I take lots of issues with the amount of ADS. It's ridiculous to ask us to pay $8 + tax. That's obscene. But if you don't pay for ads, even when I'm not touching my phone (as to let my funds build up) an ad will pop up? And they keep popping up too, without any interaction. Just BAM! 🫴🏼 Ad. It's almost nonsensical. I paid the 8 dollars. 🙄 And now I've completed the game. What I wanna know is will you add more levels to the game? New continents? Did I waste $8? 🤷

I find the game playable and a time killer. However, there are a few problems with this game. 1 being the amount of ads you experience (without buying the no ads option). The second being, things get expensive very quickly. Thirdly is it's only North America, so once you finish that. You have no reason to continue playing.

How's the gameplay? Who knows, I certainly don't when there's an ad every 30 seconds, which you have to skip twice and then wait for an X to appear, as well as being unmuteable and being some of the most annoying sounding ones. Oh, not to mention the very obvious "Oh, those ads sure are annoying, pay us for a game you haven't experienced and actually get to try it!". Yeah no. A minute, maybe two without an ad interrupting. I don't understand the rating on this.

Was away from it for a while and when I opened it again everything was locked with no way of unlocking, but I could still buy upgrades. So it's unplayable. I would have to uninstall and reinstall and probably lose everything and have to start over. That's the standard for these games that have an invasive amount of ads. No backup, sit through more ads, generate more ad revenue. Blah, blah, blah...

Honestly I like the game itself. It's good for time killing. You gotta buy the no ads thing to make it bareable but if you upgrade to the point where you can't afford them you're watching ads anyway. Personally I don't really mind it but I get why it's bothersome. Patience. As of writing this review I'm almost done with it. I've only got four zones left of Canada before I've filled the whole map out. I hope there's more to it than just North America but if not it was fun while it lasted.
