Fun for a bit, but definitely a pay to play game. Times to build, mobilize troops, and the costs in materials are through the roof. The need to complete each building type for each city in order to mobilize the different troop types with all the costs makes it very slow and burdensome. You really don't have the time or ability to upgrade, build troops, or gather rss before war is declared on you or you're attacked. Still fun for a minute.

The game is fun and easy to play, and has a pretty repeatable gameplay loop. However, the gameplay loop gets boring eventually, and I would like it if there were more game modes. I would really enjoy a game mode where there are more cities, or maybe add more importance to provinces. Something that would improve the game would be ships have the ability to stop other ships from passing, even at peace. I would also very much like an option that removes the names for the countries and cities.

Opposite of what I thought it would be. I wanted a 1 player experience. Doesn't let you pick country you want. And it chains you to a clock. Why isn't there a 1 player pausable mode? Oh right, it's easier to squeeze money out of players when they're fighting each other and deadlines.

I would give it 5 stars, but it really needs lobbies where you cant use gold. its frustrating to play and have someone using gold to speed all their production and have way more units than is possible in the amount of time they did. but if you can get in a decent lobby, its a pretty awesome game.

i love this game. There is a lot of strategy, coordination with allies, cool unit types, even some diplomacy. But this game is the epotime of pay to win. Even the most basic mechanics, like setting a rally point, queing soldiers, upgrades, and construction, or setting units to auto fire, are locked behind a paywall. A year long subscription costs 40$ which is an insane amount. And even if you purchased it, you'll never be able to beet someone who buys a bunch of gold and gets unlimited troops.
