The series continues to move in a lore explorative direction. Of this series, this game has the most story, and a compelling set of twists and turns. I can only say that the pacing seemed a bit strange, understandable as to why it was structured the way it was, but strange. despite having less physical space as a playroom compared to its predecessor, the interlocking mechanisms of the world were much more complete

I enjoyed this puzzle game quite a lot. The puzzles are the right level of difficulty. The clues are clear, you just have to take your time and think logically and according to the game mechanics, environment, and 'aesthetic.' Only one frustrated me, but i think it was me not being observant, not the puzzle.

It's definitely worth the price, I'm playing on a play pass subscription, but I can tell whoever is currently reading the reviews deciding if they want to buy the game. To waste no more time and just go for it, it has a very immersive atmosphere, beautiful graphics for the price, and the puzzles are challenging but fair. I'm about 3 hours into the game and I'm yet to run into a puzzle with ridiculous logic, I've only had to use hints due to my own haste which led to me overlooking things.

Well, I wouldn't say this is quite as good as The Room 3, and like the first game, I beat it in one day. But besides that? Delivered on atmosphere and puzzles just like the first trilogy, and with interesting twists on the storyline and game structure to boot. Fans of the series, or even just dollhouses, will definitely be satisfied with Old Sins.

Fantastic. Again. I love the steampunk/occult setting and puzzles are challenging but not impossible. I particularly like how areas get closed off once finished so there's not so much backtracking (looking at you, Room 3). The next adventure will be a day-one purchase for me.
