4.5 My journey with Trivia Crack began during a long commute. I was looking for a way to pass the time, and this app quickly became my go-to. I often find myself playing during my daily subway rides, where I can challenge random opponents or friends. It’s also a fantastic way to unwind after a long day at work. On weekends, I host trivia nights with friends, and Trivia Crack serves as the perfect icebreaker, allowing us to engage in friendly competition while enjoying snacks and drinks.
The user interface of Trivia Crack is intuitive and visually appealing. Upon opening the app, I’m greeted with vibrant colors and easy navigation. The main menu is straightforward, allowing me to jump right into a game or explore different categories. The feature workflow is seamless; I can quickly select a category, challenge a friend, and start answering questions within seconds. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly without any lag, which is crucial during competitive matches. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, as the app not only entertains but also educates me in a fun way.
Trivia Crack is free to download and play, which is a significant advantage. However, there are in-app purchases available for those who want to enhance their experience. For instance, players can buy extra lives or special features to gain an edge in competitions. I appreciate that the app offers a free version that is fully functional, allowing everyone to enjoy the trivia experience without feeling pressured to spend money.
The developers of Trivia Crack are proactive in providing updates and support. I’ve noticed regular updates that introduce new questions and features, keeping the game fresh and engaging. Additionally, the support team is responsive; I once encountered a minor issue and reached out for help. They addressed my concern promptly, which made me feel valued as a user. This level of support enhances my overall experience with the app.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and Trivia Crack does a commendable job in this regard. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards. When registering, I was required to provide minimal personal data, which is a relief compared to many other apps that demand extensive information.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, Trivia Crack does display advertisements, but they are not overly intrusive. I appreciate that the app allows users to opt for an ad-free experience through in-app purchases. Additionally, the app’s privacy policy is transparent, detailing how my data is used and protected. Overall, I feel secure using Trivia Crack, knowing that my personal information is handled responsibly.

I used to love this game...I gave it 4 stars ten years ago but I recently recommended playing with a long distance friend and there's so many ads now that freeze up the game it makes it so difficult and less fun to play. I saw they offered someone else a week free of ads but that doesn't fix the problem in the long term. Disappointed.

If your goal is to prove the subscription with a free trial is worth it, I fear giving me ads on a "No Ads" service is the wrong way to do it. That's just making me think there are ads even when you do pay the money. Edit to respond to developer: I was doing the free trial. I still got ads, just less frequently than before the trial. Even after closing the app. I immediately deleted it because the ads made it unplayable.

The Trivia part is fun, but I really hate how it takes away from the built in pop-up simulator. I wish they had more than 5 pop-ups for every 10 seconds of trivia so I could really get the full experience. My favorite part of the ad game is the 15 seconds of gambling ads I am forced to watch after I miss my 1 easy question just to get another pop-up to watch an ad as soon as I go to another match!! Truthfully an embarrassing fall from grace, so sad to see it just be ad-slop now.

Came back to this game after 5 or 6 years, and holy freakin cow the ads are out of control! It's more of an ad generator app than it is a trivia game. Absolutely unplayable. And there will probably be a comment from them on this review saying something like, "ads help us keep this game free," but trust me, you will spend more time watching ads than playing trivia.

Ads are out of control and freeze the game. I used to play this years ago and it's still challenging (although limited energy makes it impossible to play much) but the ads are soul crushing and have completely removed the fun. It's fun BUT the ads are completely intrusive and frequently freeze the game. Sadly, although I still like it i can't take either the number or length of ads so I need to once again uninstall it.
