3.2 VoyceMe: Manga and Webtoons is a delightful app that brings the world of manga and webtoons right to your fingertips. With its user-friendly interface and a plethora of features, it stands out in the crowded market of digital comic readers. Here are some of the core features that make VoyceMe a must-have for manga enthusiasts:
My journey with VoyceMe began during a long train ride. I had heard about the app from a friend who raved about its extensive library, so I decided to give it a try. As I settled into my seat, I opened the app and was immediately greeted by a sleek interface that made browsing a pleasure. I quickly found a popular romance webtoon that had been recommended to me, and before I knew it, I was lost in the story, completely oblivious to the world around me. This scenario has repeated itself countless times, whether I’m waiting in line at the coffee shop or relaxing at home after a long day. VoyceMe has seamlessly integrated into my daily routine, providing me with a reliable source of entertainment wherever I go.
The user experience on VoyceMe is nothing short of fantastic. The app’s layout is clean and organized, making it easy to find what I’m looking for. I particularly love the search function, which allows me to filter by genre, popularity, or even new releases. The reading experience itself is smooth, with crisp visuals and the ability to adjust the brightness for comfortable reading in any lighting. I’ve encountered very few bugs, and the app runs efficiently without any lag, which is crucial when I’m engrossed in a story. Overall, my feelings after using the app are overwhelmingly positive; it’s a joy to use, and I often find myself spending more time on it than I initially planned.
VoyceMe offers a freemium model, allowing users to access a significant portion of its library for free. However, for those who want an ad-free experience and access to exclusive content, there’s a premium subscription available. The pricing is reasonable, and I find that the benefits of subscribing far outweigh the costs, especially considering the quality of content available.
The developers of VoyceMe are committed to providing a top-notch experience, as evidenced by their regular updates. I’ve noticed improvements in app performance and new features being added frequently. Additionally, customer support is responsive and helpful. I had a minor issue with my account, and the support team resolved it quickly, which left me feeling valued as a user. It’s reassuring to know that the developers are actively engaged with their community.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and VoyceMe does not disappoint. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards. During the registration process, I was only required to provide minimal personal information, which is a relief in today’s data-sensitive environment. I appreciate that VoyceMe does not bombard users with excessive ads or tracking behavior, allowing for a more enjoyable reading experience without feeling like my data is being exploited. Overall, I feel secure using VoyceMe, knowing that my privacy is respected while I indulge in my favorite manga and webtoons.

If y'all don't stop forcing comics into my "currently reading" list I'm uninstalling, so help me. Click the X on an ad for another webtoon? Nah, you clearly want to read that. Now you have to delete it from your list. Sometimes I boot up the app to find stuff I never even once clicked on in my list. The other day it opened up a comic I have never read and put me on page 130 something as if I'd been reading it all along. This has been going on for months and it's obnoxious.

This new UI is horrible, and the pop-up ads in particular are abysmal for several reasons. First, when I open the app 9/10 times I just want to get to a series that updated, and anything that pops up I'm going to get out of the way ASAP or sometimes accidentally press. The quality is also terrible- the ads do idiotic things like misrepresent the point of the comic or even misgender the protagonist. And yeah, the ads are often for comics I already read- a waste of everyone's time. Go back plz.

I've been on Webtoon since about 2019, most of the stories are genuinely amazing. With that being said though, what Webtoon advertises the most has to be unlocked by ads or coins. Though there are ways to get free coins, they expire after about a week. You could work for a month trying to get free coins, then POOF! They're gone. This is really frustrating. Overall, the comics and authors are amazing, the app, not so much.

I can't tell what I've read anymore. Why have read episodes darkened for as long as I can remember, only to suddenly change it so that the read episodes be lighter than the unread ones. Also, I realize it's probably more of a problem for English, but having every episode being marked with "read" doesn't help when present tense and past tense are spelled the same, so it just looks like everything has been read. I liked it better when only the episodes you read got marked

Was a premium subscriber for a few years, gave it a 5 star rating. They recently changed the premium so you get less of a discount, thus you pay more coins per episode and in exchange you don't get ads and get a coupon for their shop. It was offered as an "upgrade" but is really just them giving me less for the same price. I'd rather watch ads and keep my discount where it was. I unsubscribed. If I get the option to go back to my original plan, I might change my rating, but not likely.
