Features & Highlights

  • Card Collecting: Dive into the thrilling world of card collecting where you can gather your favorite WWE Superstars. Each card represents a wrestler with unique stats and abilities, allowing you to build a powerful deck. For instance, I recently pulled a rare John Cena card, which significantly boosted my deck's performance in matches.
  • Real-Time Battles: Engage in real-time battles against other players or AI opponents. The strategic element of choosing the right cards to counter your opponent's moves adds an exciting layer to the gameplay. I remember a nail-biting match where I had to outsmart my opponent by using a surprise card that turned the tide in my favor.
  • Seasonal Events: Participate in seasonal events that offer exclusive rewards and challenges. These events keep the gameplay fresh and exciting. During the last Halloween event, I was able to earn a limited-edition card by completing specific challenges, which made my collection even more impressive.
  • Team Play: Join or create a team with friends or other players to compete in team events. This feature fosters a sense of community and collaboration. I teamed up with my friends to tackle a team event, and the camaraderie we built while strategizing was a highlight of my gaming experience.
  • Regular Updates: The game frequently receives updates that introduce new cards, features, and improvements. This commitment to keeping the game fresh ensures that players always have something to look forward to. I was thrilled when a recent update introduced a new tier of cards that enhanced the competitive aspect of the game.

Do I play this game? Probably too much. But if you have read any other review, I'm sure you have run across the word "addictive" along the way. Is it addictive, sure. Is it fun, it definitely can be. So why 1 star? Simply put, they have the worst customer service. Their "service" is unresponsive and inflexible. My most recent (within 30 minutes of writing this review) involves and UNAUTHORIZED in game purchase which removed 2500 coins (in game currency) from my account for the purchase of some gimmick pack of cards. The actual cost of these coins is over $20 and there is no way of getting restitution. I certainly cannot be the only player this has happened to and sadly, it's the second time a situation like this has happened. 2k and Cat Daddy will gladly take your money. And they will NEVER give it back, regardless of the situation.

So this game gives you so many things to do, by the time you have played for years. (I've played since season 1) even at 350 card limit, the game is a burdon. You need to stop what your doing, go level people up. The worst part of the game was the invention of the enchantment card. Entirely worthless, they do nothing to really enhance your cards if you level them up properly. I can't even play the game because I have so many enchantment cards that are of high value, I can't help in team battle.

Hear me out, the game itself is fine. It runs perfectly, it looks nice and has great animations, the cards and wrestlers on the cards look great...but it's so boring. Gameplay essentially boils down to picking the best possible card and hope the other players cards are weaker. Progress in the game is based entirely on how powerful your "top 8" cards are and with how easy it is to get high rarity cards, you will have at least a few cards to power up. Overall, an okay game but gets stale fast.

I want to give this game 5 stars, but during the (currently ongoing) American Nightmare promotion (2 weeks), where you "find collectibles" to trade for card packs, with tiers based on "the more you find the better the reward". I quickly found myself finding 30 collectibles in the first week. I then spent the past six days endlessly searching for more to reach 50, and finding ZERO. It's almost like the game decided the 30 collectibles tier level is all I'm allowed to earn. Poor show fellas.

Probably the best official WWE game here on the play store, just because you can get the best cards even as a free player. I've been playing since the beginning of season 1, and I have gotten to the top tier, and even the best event exclusive cards, being a completely free player. Sure, spending money would get you there quicker, but you can substitute paying by grinding and being smart with how you use the free credits they give you (title matches in events tend to be the best way to spend credits). A bit of luck helps too, but thankfully isn't a requirement. I have taken several month-long breaks from this game and been able to come back and climb the tiers to the top again completely for free. The main downside to this game is the connection. Sadly the constant network errors bump this down to a 4-star rating for me. That has always been a problem with this game, and I guess it's here to stay. It's thankfully better than I've seen it in some previous seasons, but you will still see the vintage "Network error" notice more times than I'd like, even on wifi.
