3.9 Yahoo Fantasy Sports is a powerhouse in the realm of fantasy sports, offering a plethora of features that cater to both casual players and hardcore enthusiasts. Here are some of the standout features that make this app a must-have for any fantasy sports aficionado:
As a dedicated fantasy sports player, I find myself using the Yahoo Fantasy Sports app in various scenarios throughout the week. On Sundays, I wake up early to check my lineup and make any last-minute adjustments before the games start. The app's user-friendly interface allows me to quickly swap out injured players or pick up a hot free agent. During the games, I often find myself refreshing the app to see how my players are performing, and I love the thrill of watching my team climb the leaderboard in real-time. Additionally, I use the app during the week to analyze matchups and read expert articles, which helps me stay ahead of the competition.
The user interface of Yahoo Fantasy Sports is sleek and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. The home screen provides a quick overview of my teams, upcoming matchups, and player news, which I find incredibly helpful. The feature workflow is seamless; for example, when I want to make a trade, I can easily access the trade analyzer and get instant feedback on the potential deal. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly without any noticeable lag, even during peak times when many users are online. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, as the app enhances my fantasy sports journey and keeps me engaged throughout the season.
Yahoo Fantasy Sports is free to use, which is a significant advantage for casual players and those just starting in the fantasy sports world. While there are premium features available for a fee, the core functionalities are robust enough to keep most users satisfied without spending a dime. This accessibility allows everyone to join in on the fun without financial barriers.
The app receives regular updates that enhance its functionality and user experience. I appreciate how Yahoo listens to user feedback and implements changes accordingly. Whenever I encounter an issue, the support team is responsive and helpful, providing timely assistance through their help center. This level of support gives me confidence that any problems I face will be addressed quickly.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and Yahoo Fantasy Sports takes these concerns seriously. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During registration, I was required to provide basic personal information, such as my email address and date of birth, which is standard practice. However, I appreciate that Yahoo has a clear privacy policy outlining how my data is used and protected.
In terms of ads and tracking behavior, I noticed that the app does display ads, but they are not overly intrusive. Yahoo also provides options to manage ad preferences, allowing me to control the type of ads I see. Overall, I feel secure using the app, knowing that my personal information is handled with care and that I have control over my privacy settings.

There is an issue on the app. When I click on all matchups, it shows all the matchups in my league, but if I choose one. The app crashes. I'm on the newest android version. Yahoo is the newest version. I cleared the cache and data. Still the same issue. Also I am not happy that the only way to my team is to go to the matchup first. Then click team.

The app is far from user friendly. You have to go through several screens to figure out where you need to go. Then you try it from a full website and things are totally different. I only care about one sport football. Yahoo has decided they need to show you all sports and navigation to the one sport you one is several clicks and webpages away from where you want to see. Simplify the clicks, make the web based and app based version the same look and feel. Let me default to a certain sport.

Overall, the app is okay but the reason I'm leaving this one star review is I just can't understand how you could design a fantasy baseball experience with so many key stats missing. Very annoying to have to do calculations in my head for batting average, on base percentage, ERA, and WHIP. Why in the world do you not have these critical stats showing anywhere?! Mind boggling... it's 2026 and we should be able to see even more stats, not less. Android and app is up to date Will update if fixed.

This app was never good but whatever recent updates have come out have really bricked it. When I check my fantasy baseball team it defaults to showing their Projected Stats for today, something I've never even wanted to seek out, but if you try to switch it back to actual stats the app gets confused and doesn't do anything until you restart it. Same now for adjusting the lineup, if I make a move I have to close and re-open the app to see it actually change.

new update does not show you games remaining/projected table at the bottom of team page in my rotisserie league and it is not findable anywhere under any menu or tab, sometimes you can't switch days and it keeps defaulting to projected stats even after games are being played and stats are being accumulated. That makes no sense why would I want to know what yahoos projected stats for the day are when players have actual stats for the day but i have to click an extra time to see them now.
