3.6 1Password: Password Manager is a robust tool designed to simplify your digital life while enhancing your security. Here are some of its standout features:
In my daily life, 1Password has become an indispensable tool. Whether I’m shopping online, managing my work accounts, or even sharing passwords with family members, 1Password is always there to streamline the process. For example, when I recently signed up for a new streaming service, I used the password generator to create a strong password. Later, when my partner wanted access, I simply shared the login details through 1Password’s secure sharing feature, making it easy and safe.
The user interface of 1Password is clean and intuitive, making it easy for anyone to navigate. Upon opening the app, I’m greeted with a well-organized dashboard that displays my vault, favorites, and recently used items. The workflow is smooth; adding a new password is as simple as clicking a button and filling in the details. Performance-wise, the app is quick and responsive, with no noticeable lag when searching for passwords or accessing my vault. Overall, using 1Password feels secure and efficient, allowing me to focus on my tasks without worrying about password management.
1Password offers a subscription model that is quite reasonable considering the level of security and convenience it provides. The individual plan starts at around $2.99 per month when billed annually, while family plans are available for $4.99 per month, allowing up to five members to share the service. Given the peace of mind it offers, I find the pricing to be a worthy investment.
1Password is consistently updated with new features and security enhancements, which is reassuring for users like me who prioritize safety. The support team is responsive and helpful; I once had a question about syncing issues, and they replied within a few hours with a clear solution. Their commitment to user satisfaction is evident, making me feel valued as a customer.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when choosing a password manager. 1Password is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the standards set by these platforms. When registering, the app requires minimal personal data, which is a significant plus for privacy-conscious users. There are no intrusive ads or tracking behavior, allowing me to use the app without feeling like my data is being exploited. The app employs end-to-end encryption, meaning that even 1Password cannot access my stored information, which is a comforting thought in today’s digital landscape.

I want to like this, but it almost never autofills on my pixel 6. I have not canceled my subscription, because I have spent too much time updating passwords. But seriously folks, why cant you get your app to work! I start signing up for a new login for a new service, and most of the time 1password misses the opportunity to record the information. I go to a site I've gone to before and entered in password, and no autofill happens most of the time. Do better!

It makes me sad to have to issue a one star review because 1password is the best option on Windows. It works flawlessly over there. But on Android, it's a hot mess. I'd say 1 in 10 times it actually offers me my credentials on a password form. Most of the time I have to look it up manually. it's painful. If this isn't resolved soon I'll have to take my money elsewhere and I don't say that lightly. switching password managers is not a fun task :(

had the app for a long time and it's just getting worse and worse. I don't think that they can get a handle on Google who's probably trying to push them out of this space. Many times passwords don't auto-populate and then when you try to navigate to the 1Password app Google only gives you the option for theirs. On an Apple, same thing but with their product. The whole reason I loved using this is because of the auto-populate.

I love the product and its seamless integration over several devices, but the android app is just a mess. every other time I try to autofill the password in chrome, it would not recognize 1password so I need to open 1password app, unlock it and jump back to chrome to autofill. that happened on 2 different devices and after factory reset, so it's an app issue. also, once in a while I would open the app to search for a password but it would show up empty. I'd have to force close the app and reopen

Great features besides PW management like authentication OTPs, secure notes, organization, secure sharing, etc. Love that I can setup passkeys that can be used across multiple devices unlike others that are tied to a specific device. Great Android integration! I just wish all sites would code their UN/PW fields correctly for auto fill (not 1Password's fault here!), but copy/paste works well for those situations.
