To be clear, I DO like this game; I bought it when it came out for Nintendo DS. But I just tested this version on airplane mode and I confirmed the following: If you don't have an internet or mobile connection (for instance, you're in a dead zone), you can't play this game. If you got the DS version, good for you. Don't spend your money on the android version until it becomes standalone; better to search eBay for the DS version.

It's a good game in general but it's very buggy. Often the characters will disappear completely, although saving the game and reloading it will fix this issue. Sometimes the screen/background will go black except for the text and option boxes will disappear, and whole you can still save your game you need to completely close the app in order to get it to work again. While it's relatively easy to solve these problems, the frequency of them gets very annoying quickly.

I have already played this game on another system. At first, I was really happy that they converted it to the phone, but honestly the game is so buggy. The game freezes constantly and icons will disappear and in certain scenes the characters will disappear. It has become unplayable and I really want a refund which is seriously sad because I love this series. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game a crapload of times. I have tried repeatedly to play it and reload it but it doesn't work.

One of the best Ace Attorney games in the series, and seriously deserves more attention than it gets. DONT SKIP THIS ONE, just because it's a side game/"spin-off". However, you may want to have played the Original Trilogy before playing this game, as some of the characters and callbacks will mean a lot more to someone who has experienced those games.

I bought this in support of a possible Investigations collection! I've played this game on Nintendo DS before and from what I've played here so far I can say that the gameplay transitioned well into this mobile version. Everything looks very good and I hope Capcom will use the latest collection; the Apollo Justice Trilogy, and this mobile port as a basis for the next collection in the series. Let's see that Investigations collection finally come to fruition!
