Adidas regularly updates the app, introducing new features and improvements based on user feedback. I’ve noticed enhancements in the user interface and additional training plans that cater to different fitness levels. As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using fitness apps like "adidas Running: Run tracker." The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was required to provide basic personal information, such as my name and email address, but I appreciated that the app allows me to control my privacy settings. There are options to limit data sharing and manage how my information is used.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, I noticed that the app does display some advertisements, but they are not overly intrusive. The app also tracks my running data to provide personalized insights, which is a common practice in fitness applications. However, I feel comfortable knowing that I can opt out of certain tracking features if I choose. Overall, the app strikes a good balance between functionality and user privacy, making it a trustworthy choice for fitness enthusiasts.

I've used this app for years - installed on my watch and phone. It does a great job with location, motion, health sensors, etc. I'd still be using it except, this spring, it stopped syncing activities from my watch. Know software glitch that they haven't bothered to fix. I contacted their support. They were absolutely no help at all. So I switched to Strava. For the first few months, Strava worked great. Now, it's not tracking location properly and counting 30 mile bike rides as only 16.

As long as you use the Adidas pre-built plans it is a great app. When you try to change thresholds or build your own work out the app glitches out and sets speeds to 1mph or 3999mph. For shoe selection to track miles on them, they only have their flag ship shoes in the options. Wish they would put the same amount of time into usability that they do for pushing their products.

I bought this app when it was Runtastic, and it was absolutely excellent. Since Adidas purchased it, it has become stripped down - advance mapping, viewing of long term workout data in-app, challenging old runs... have all been reduced to a basic run tracker/advertisement for Adidas products. I'm on my second attempt at retrieving my old data. Fingers crossed!

Great app. However, I uninstalled for a while and reinstalled it and the app will not let me get back in using my Google account. when I try to log in it says something like, " sorry but this Google account is already associated with an Adidas account." Exactly, so I don't know why it won't let me log in 😂 I wish I could log in though it's a great app otherwise!

If you're looking for an app to track just about any cardio exercises you like, this is the one. It also provides a good selection of guided workouts if you're looking to improve your running. The reason for the four star review: there is one thing I wish worked. I wish the guided running workouts would count towards the community events. i.e. the accumulated time or miles events. It's a real shame that they don't. If this can be addressed I'll gladly update my review
