4.5 AirDroid Parental Control is a robust application designed to help parents monitor and manage their children's device usage effectively. With a suite of features tailored for modern parenting, it stands out as a reliable tool for ensuring a safe digital environment. Here are some of its core features:
As a parent, I often find myself juggling work and family responsibilities, which makes it challenging to keep an eye on my children's digital activities. One evening, I noticed my son was unusually quiet, and I suspected he was spending too much time on his phone. I opened the AirDroid Parental Control app and quickly checked his screen time. To my surprise, he had exceeded his daily limit. I decided to use the app's screen time management feature to restrict his access for the rest of the evening, encouraging him to engage in other activities like reading or playing outside.
Another scenario occurred during a family trip. I wanted to ensure my daughter was safe while exploring the amusement park with her friends. Using the real-time location tracking feature, I could monitor her whereabouts without being intrusive. It was reassuring to see her enjoying herself while I remained informed about her location.
The user interface of AirDroid Parental Control is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean dashboard that displayed all the essential features at a glance. Navigating through the app was seamless; I could easily access location tracking, app management, and screen time settings without any confusion. The performance was impressive, with minimal lag when switching between features. Overall, my experience with the app has been positive. It has empowered me to take control of my children's digital lives while fostering open communication about their online activities.
AirDroid Parental Control offers a variety of pricing plans to suit different needs. The basic version is free, providing essential features, but for more advanced functionalities like detailed activity reports and enhanced location tracking, I opted for the premium subscription. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the peace of mind it brings. I found the investment worthwhile, as it allows me to ensure my children are safe while using their devices.
The developers of AirDroid Parental Control are committed to providing regular updates, which is crucial for maintaining security and adding new features. I have noticed several updates since I started using the app, each enhancing its functionality and user experience. Additionally, the customer support team is responsive and helpful. I reached out with a question about a feature, and they promptly provided a detailed response, which made me feel valued as a user.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when it comes to apps that monitor children's activities. AirDroid Parental Control is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During the registration process, I was required to provide minimal personal data, which is reassuring. The app does not bombard users with ads, and I have not noticed any intrusive tracking behavior, which is a significant plus for me. Overall, I feel confident that my family's data is secure while using AirDroid Parental Control, allowing me to focus on what truly matters—keeping my children safe in the digital world.

I wanted to monitor my rented space for unusual things going on. But, the app probably freezes a lot. the message says that 'the app is not responding; please check the Internet connection'. I have Internet connection. I waited. It doesn't seem to work. The one device which I wanted to use doesn't allow the uninstall to work. On the whole, maybe it's not a good fit for me.

Just a heads up, there is only a 3 day trial, if you were hoping it was free or had free features, it doesn't after 3 days. I'm not the fence on if I want to subscribe. It looks promising but that could change after I may decide to pay. Just wish apps were more upfront about this information in the store page before downloading, it was a pain to set up.

Not happy with it. I paid for the year so I'll continue to use it. Most of the features stop working after a while. I have to keep going in to allow app permissions every time the app updates, and downtime stopped working after the latest update. It uses military time, and doesn't give you an option to for a 12hr clock. You can't see chats from social media apps, but you can see incoming messages from texts, but not outgoing.

Overall the app works well, especially to be able to control downtime and app limits on an iPhone with an Android phone. However, there is no way to limit overall screen time. You can limit the time in each app but not a cumulative screen time (all apps in total). Also, for some reason the time spent in an app does not agree in the app compared to my child's phone. The time spent in an app on the iPhone one may show 8 minutes while the app shows 25 minutes. I tend to believe the iPhone.

I don't like that I can't see the texts my daughter is sending, I can only see incoming texts. They are also not separated by person, every text goes to the same thread. The daily usage never updates, it stays at 0. I also get annoyed with the constant notifications every time a text or weather alert, app notification, etc come in. Putting time limits on apps and even adding them to the block list doesn't prevent my daughter from using them. I can block an app and she can use it normally.
