3.9 Alight Motion is a powerful video editing and animation app that has quickly become a favorite among content creators. Its user-friendly interface and robust features make it an excellent choice for both beginners and seasoned professionals. Here are some of the standout features that make Alight Motion a must-have tool:
As a content creator, I often find myself juggling multiple projects, from YouTube videos to social media posts. Alight Motion has become my go-to app for video editing and animation. One of my favorite scenarios is when I need to create quick promotional clips for my upcoming events. The app's multi-layer editing feature allows me to combine video footage, graphics, and text effortlessly, making it easy to produce eye-catching content in a short amount of time. Additionally, I use Alight Motion to design animated intros for my videos, which adds a professional touch and helps establish my brand identity.
The user interface of Alight Motion is intuitive and easy to navigate, which is a significant plus for someone like me who isn't a professional editor. The layout is clean, with all the essential tools readily accessible. I appreciate how the app guides you through the editing process, making it simple to add layers, effects, and transitions. The performance is impressive; I’ve experienced minimal lag even when working on complex projects with multiple layers. Overall, my experience with Alight Motion has been overwhelmingly positive. It feels like a powerful desktop editing software but is conveniently available on my mobile device.
Alight Motion offers a free version with basic features, which is great for beginners. However, to unlock the full potential of the app, including premium features and the removal of watermarks, I opted for the subscription plan. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the extensive features available. I find that the investment is worth it, given the quality of my content has significantly improved since I started using the premium version.
The developers of Alight Motion are proactive in providing updates, which often include new features and bug fixes. I’ve noticed improvements in performance and additional effects that enhance my editing experience. The support team is also responsive; I reached out with a question about a specific feature and received a helpful reply within a day. This level of support gives me confidence in using the app for my projects.
When it comes to security and privacy, Alight Motion takes several measures to protect its users. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the security standards set by these platforms. During the registration process, I was only required to provide minimal personal information, which is a relief in today’s data-driven world. I appreciate that the app does not ask for excessive permissions, which can often lead to privacy concerns.
Regarding ads and tracking behavior, I noticed that while the free version does include ads, they are not overly intrusive. The premium subscription removes these ads, allowing for a smoother editing experience. Overall, I feel secure using Alight Motion, knowing that my personal data is handled responsibly and that I have control over my privacy settings.

I've been an alight motion user since 2020, though I've always had one problem, lag. I've always wished that alight motion was officially available on other devices besides mobile (such as PC) since they give better quality and less lag issues. Since lagging isn't really fixable, helping develop alight motion for PC users as well can both improve the experience and expand the download and buys. I'm really looking forward to not just a PC version, but more of the exact app just allowed on PC.

the amount of ads is a little absurd. I know this is a free app so of course there will be ads, but it's just a little too much. having to watch an ad when you open the app, then having to watch another ad to open a project 5 seconds later, and having to watch an unskippable ad with 10-15 seconds of extra time to be able to click the X; I think this is a little much. other than that, great app

After a while it stopped letting me save. Tried everything and it just wouldn't work. Doesn't help that it also gives 20 ads when you try to do anything. edit: no alight motion, giving 3 ads every 2 seconds does not make me want to get your stupid premium. It makes me want to not use the app. so, yeah. I'm no longer using this trash app.

It's nice and fun to animate with... But when I wanted to watch an ad to unlock a premium effect, the ad would not play no matter what, and left me on the 'try it first' screen... yikes. it wouldn't work no matter how many times I closed the app and opened the project again. horrible and time-consuming, wouldn't recommend for those who have a short patience

I genuinely can't recommend this to anyone. The ads are a nightmare. Upon launching the app, you are prompted for their membership, selecting no triggers an ad, and so does starting a new project. you watch ads to unlock tools and export, but if an ad opens to the app store alight motion may close and you'll have to watch all those ads again, not to mention I've recently run into an unskipable ad and have been trying to export a video for 2 hours with no luck
