3.0 Apple Health is a comprehensive health and fitness app that serves as a central hub for all your health-related data. It seamlessly integrates with various devices and apps, making it easier than ever to track your wellness journey. Here are some of its standout features:
My journey with Apple Health began when I decided to take my fitness seriously. Every morning, I lace up my running shoes and head out for a jog. As I run, I rely on the app to track my distance and pace, which not only keeps me motivated but also helps me set achievable goals. On days when I hit the gym, I log my workouts, from weightlifting to cardio sessions, allowing me to see my progress over time. Additionally, I use the nutrition tracking feature to log my meals, ensuring I stay on top of my dietary goals. The app has become an integral part of my daily routine, guiding me toward a healthier lifestyle.
The user interface of Apple Health is sleek and intuitive, making it easy to navigate through various features. Upon opening the app, I’m greeted with a dashboard that summarizes my daily activity, sleep, and nutrition data. The workflow is seamless; for instance, logging a workout is as simple as tapping a few buttons. I appreciate how the app integrates with my Apple Watch, allowing me to receive real-time updates on my health metrics. Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly without any lag, and I’ve never encountered any bugs. Overall, my experience with Apple Health has been overwhelmingly positive, as it empowers me to take charge of my health in a user-friendly manner.
Apple Health is completely free to use, which is a significant advantage for anyone looking to improve their health without incurring additional costs. While the app itself is free, it does offer integrations with other paid apps and devices, such as fitness trackers and premium nutrition services. However, the core functionalities of Apple Health are robust enough to provide a comprehensive health tracking experience without any financial commitment.
Apple regularly updates the Health app, introducing new features and enhancements based on user feedback. I’ve noticed improvements in the sleep tracking feature and the addition of new health metrics over time. The support provided by Apple is also commendable; I once had a question about syncing my health data with my doctor’s office, and their customer service was prompt and helpful. Overall, the commitment to continuous improvement and user support makes Apple Health a reliable companion on my health journey.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when it comes to health apps. Apple Health is available on the App Store, which is a trusted source for app downloads. The app requires minimal personal data for registration, primarily focusing on health metrics rather than extensive personal information. This is reassuring, as I feel my data is kept private. Apple has a strong reputation for prioritizing user privacy, and I appreciate that the app does not bombard me with ads or engage in tracking behavior that compromises my data. Overall, I feel secure using Apple Health, knowing that my health information is protected and used solely for my benefit.

I really want to like and use this app. I have a couple issues preventing this. first, sometimes it does not count steps. Two walking workouts in a day and steps for both were ignored. but a walk in the store s couple hours later was. This has happened on more than one occasion. Second, you're cannot edit duration of a workout. Sometimes I forget to end a workout and it totally messes up my tracking. I will be sticking with samsung health for now.

Wish there was a way for the step counter widget to update in real time. Especially at the end of the day when I'm trying to reach my target goal. And most of the time when I open the app it still takes 30 seconds or more for it to update the count. And sometime it won't update at all. Frustratingly, sometimes the app will decrease the amount of steps or heart points that you have earned. If you are trying to maintain a streak of days where you've made your target this can be very demotivating.

It doesn't sync to anything anymore. Google Fit is now blocking apps I want to connect to and have previously connected to. Data is inaccurate because of the lack of syncing, even when shown as connectedness. If you try disconnecting and reconnecting the applications, Google Fit will deny the connection, and there is no way to override. Google Fit is Junk!

I seriously loved this app. It was a great catch-all for me because I hike, cycle, and horseback ride. But now that they're discontinuing it, the whole thing is going downhill. I have no idea why they decided to kill this thing; it was reliable, easy to use, and would sync nicely will other apps. Super disappointed because all of the other fitness apps look like buggy, expensive messes. PLEASE Google I BEG YOU to keep this app alive.

It's a good app. I use a Fossil Gen 6 and while I use both apps Fit seems to work better. I like tracking my vitals along with my activity for the day. THAT SAID... I have a backlog of data and don't like weight entry set up like an "odometer" and the calendar is also tedious. Just let me type in the data please. Even better, you folks seem hard core on us talking to our phones, why not just me tell Fit, without typing/scrolling at all? And bring back desktop support like all your other apps!
