I'd pass on this game. Its been around 10 years. The gap between the top players and starting players isn't even in the same universe. It'll be years before you can compete unless you can find someone selling their ark for a few thousand. It was cool at first, but eventually its just log in, do the same daily stuff, same events and no way to close the competitive gap without serious spending and keep your sheilds up at all times or a whale will come in and clean you out. If you play, good luck.

It's sort of like a million other strategy games out there but worse. Imagine one of those games where you have a town or base, and you have to build farms, mines, research place, military training place, etc. And then you see all these things get built, and you upgrade them, and you get to see your city grow. This game is just like that, but you have a space ship instead, but it never changes. And, you don't build anything, you just upgrade things, but they don't change. And, ship is on a planet surface, kinda strange. It's all about collecting leaders and building armies, and you attack other players and NPCs. When you fight, you just send your army out to attack, and that's it, there's no active control. You just win or lose. When you aren't playing, players are attacking you, and taking all your money and supplies. Everyone who attacks you will be much more powerful, and there's pretty much nothing you can do to defend yourself. So, everytime you log on all you armies are dead and most of you money and supplies are gone. And, you have to start all over again. The whole point of the game is about attacking people much weaker than you, and taking all their stuff. It got boring and pointless very quickly.

Was sort of good. Until I found out that after a certain lvl you can't start a new server. Also can't restart on my current server because it's full. Dead but somehow full. Only option left would be to create an alt. This I just don't want to do. The game would be ok if you could start a new server. I took a long break from playing and when I came back the server was dead. This is why I need a new one. I'd guess many people have this problem now.

I dunno if this game is new or just extremely unrefined. In short, neat idea but HORRIBLY executed in a lot of places. 1) Very little is clear. Even the help files aren't very informative. 2) I hate that you only get one resource building per. Yes, I know, upgrade, research, etc. But add massive inflated costs and it's harder to progress than I've ever seen. 3) Gathering takes forever. 6+ hours to gather 200k of something? And if you don't manually recall when done you can be attacked. 🤬

Wanted to like it. Started out fun. Has some interesting ideas for this type of game. But the paywall is hit very quickly. Cant get enough rescources to progress after a week very easily. And if you dont unlock the S commander you have to buy it. Without it your basically toast. I understand paying money for these types of games. But certainly seems like not one that you can spend 20-50 a month on and have fun. Lots of other choices out there if your in that price range for mobile entertainment.
