4.4 BetterSleep: Sleep tracker is a comprehensive app designed to help users improve their sleep quality through various innovative features. Here are some of the core highlights that make this app stand out:
As someone who has struggled with sleep for years, I was eager to try BetterSleep: Sleep tracker. I typically use the app in various scenarios throughout my day. For instance, after a long day at work filled with meetings and deadlines, I often find it hard to unwind. I open the app and select a calming soundscape, which helps me transition from the hustle and bustle of the day to a more relaxed state. Additionally, I use the sleep tracking feature to monitor how my sleep changes when I incorporate new habits, like reducing screen time before bed or practicing mindfulness meditation.
The user interface of BetterSleep is intuitive and visually appealing. Upon opening the app, I’m greeted with a clean dashboard that displays my sleep statistics at a glance. Navigating through the features is seamless; I can easily switch between tracking my sleep, listening to soundscapes, or journaling my thoughts. The performance is impressive, with no lag or crashes during my usage. After using the app for a few weeks, I feel more in control of my sleep patterns, and the insights provided have been invaluable in helping me understand what affects my sleep quality.
BetterSleep offers a free version with basic features, but to unlock the full potential of the app, including premium soundscapes and advanced tracking options, a subscription is required. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering the value it provides in improving sleep quality. I opted for the monthly subscription, which allows me to test the waters before committing long-term.
The developers of BetterSleep are proactive in providing updates and support. I’ve noticed regular updates that introduce new features and improve existing ones. The support team is responsive; I reached out with a question about a feature, and they replied within 24 hours with helpful information. This level of customer service adds to my overall positive experience with the app.
As an American user, I take security and privacy seriously, and BetterSleep addresses these concerns effectively. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring it meets the necessary security standards. When registering, I was only required to provide minimal personal data, which is a relief compared to many other apps that demand extensive information.
Moreover, BetterSleep does not bombard users with ads, which is a significant plus for me. I appreciate that the app respects my privacy and does not engage in excessive tracking behavior. The developers have made it clear in their privacy policy that they do not sell user data to third parties, which further enhances my trust in the app.

I can barely do anything with this app, because I don't want to PAY FOR EVERYTHING! In the free version, they literally mark the sleep sounds in your tracked sleep, and 1: They are inaccurate sounds 2: They don't even let you hear the sounds that they list. You can only listen to 3 sleeptales, because otherwise you'd have to pay. Very little interaction with the creativity sounds. Can't listen to any of the new sounds, or the colored noise. There are only 9 sounds. SOMEBODY FIX THIS!

Been using this (& sharing it with more people than I remember) for 10 years. it's that good, no joke. It was, & still is the best app of its kind. But I hate that there aren't any specified areas/ways to navigate to free content. It wasn't a big deal at first. there would be at least 1 or 2 samples for free of each type of new feature, but with more additions & no filter/section for free content, I can't easily find anything free but what I already had favorited. But A+ overall!

Don't bother. There are only 10 sounds still available in the free version. I've loved this app for a long time but the reduction in features is ridiculous. I opened the app today and 90% of my mixes are now locked because sounds that used to be free are now paid. For some people, me included, $5 isn't nothing and I don't have extra to throw at a formerly free app. I recommend finding another app - preferably one with more than a dozen sounds.

I used to love this app, legit, it was the best "free" sound sleeper app out there. The most recent update with the "pay for essentially all the sounds" makes it virtually unusable. You might as well download a different app. Not even a single white noise sound left for free use?! I had the perfect mix. Feel like I've been using this app for 5 yrs and this app was soooooo good, I was tempted to buy a better version to access all the sounds and sleep tracker but now I feel cheated and will not.

I used to love this app, but it limits you to 10 free sounds, the rest need premium. Same with the recordings, you can't hear it without premium. I tried the 7 day free trial and now it won't let me cancel. I tried going to help but canceling subscriptions was the only page that didn't load. Sorry but this premium thing is too forced. Fix this.
