4.7 My journey with "Crossword Quest" began during my daily commute. I often found myself waiting for the train, and instead of scrolling through social media, I decided to dive into a crossword puzzle. The app quickly became my go-to distraction during those mundane moments. I also used it during lunch breaks at work, where I could challenge myself to complete a puzzle in under 10 minutes. On weekends, I would sit on my porch with a cup of tea, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere while solving themed puzzles that sparked my creativity.
The user interface of "Crossword Quest" is one of its standout features. The layout is intuitive, with a clean design that makes it easy to focus on the puzzles. I found the navigation seamless; switching between different puzzle types and accessing hints was straightforward. The performance was impressive as well; I never experienced lag or crashes, which is crucial for maintaining immersion in the game. Overall, my feelings after using the app were overwhelmingly positive. It provided a perfect blend of challenge and relaxation, making it a delightful addition to my daily routine.
"Crossword Quest" is free to download, which is a significant advantage for casual gamers. However, it does offer in-app purchases for additional hints and special puzzle packs. I found the pricing reasonable, especially considering the quality of the content. The option to play for free while having the choice to enhance the experience with purchases is a great balance for users.
The developers of "Crossword Quest" are proactive in providing updates, which keeps the app fresh and engaging. I noticed new puzzles and features being added regularly, which shows their commitment to user satisfaction. Additionally, the support team is responsive; I had a minor issue with a puzzle, and they addressed my concern promptly, which left me feeling valued as a user.
As an American user, I always consider security and privacy when using apps. "Crossword Quest" is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. The registration process is straightforward, requiring only basic information, which I appreciated. I was relieved to find that the app does not ask for excessive personal data, making it less intrusive. However, like many free apps, it does include ads, which can sometimes feel overwhelming. I noticed some tracking behavior, but it seemed standard for apps in this category. Overall, I felt comfortable using "Crossword Quest," knowing that my data was handled responsibly.

Game isn't working! After you finish a game, it isn't accepting the level is finished. If you go back to look at the game, it comes up empty! Game is great when it works correctly. It fun to play & helps you learn new words. The issue is that the game no longer offers the chance to earn more $$ to buy letters to solve puzzles. You used to have the chance to watch ads to help you earn more $ -not any more. (Some puzzles are harder to solve than others).

Look I played about 3 different kinds of word puzzles and I'm bored after awhile. As for myself I'm looking to relax, & see some progress without pressure. Many are repetitive you can almost memorize wat's next. Downloaded this earlier, now been playing right about an hour agó, I'm already at level 75 well over 1,455 pts or coins or whatever you call them. and any case I'm female in my mid-70's always been a quick thinker, I like a challenge CrossWord gets my mind off my day off to bed now Thx!

Poorly made game. Crashes consistently every 5-10 minutes. Outside of the crashing, the ads are ridiculous,so I removed them. Of course it didn't start crashing until after I paid to remove ads, and now the crashes seem to be close to when the ads were, every 5 or so levels. The game play's not great. The words don't follow normal rules. Sometimes,it'll be a person's name or a place name that you are using points to get past. Wouldn't really recommend even without the crash issue. Uninstalling.

I have always loved word games. If you enjoy them too, try out this game. Most of the words are short, but the game is still challenging. There's no timer, so I play while I'm watching TV. Then if I get engrossed in the TV show, the game will wait until there's a commercial or the exciting part 🫣 of the show is over. It's a win-win! 😉 Too bad it's not a money-maker too. Then it would be a perfect game! (I hope somebody who designs new video games sees this & creates that "perfect game"!👍)

The game would be great if it wasn't for the constant interuptions of the intrusive, irritating ads. Some ads I could deal with but, this is constant, totally covering the screen so you can't play anything. At times the ad tells you that you can't go on until you play their game so you have to back out and start the game over. It's to bad you have to ruin a perfectly good game with your greed trying to sell more games in this manner. I uninstall!!!
