4.7 Crunchyroll: Anime Streaming is a treasure trove for anime enthusiasts, offering a plethora of features that enhance the viewing experience. Here are some of the core highlights that make this app stand out:
As a busy professional and an avid anime fan, I often find myself reaching for the Crunchyroll app during my downtime. Whether it's during my lunch break at work or while unwinding at home after a long day, the app fits seamlessly into my routine. I particularly enjoy using it on weekends when I have more time to dive into new series or catch up on episodes I missed during the week. The ability to download episodes for offline viewing has been a game-changer, especially during my daily commute on the subway, where I can immerse myself in the latest adventures of my favorite characters without worrying about internet connectivity.
The user interface of Crunchyroll is sleek and modern, making it easy to navigate through the vast library of content. Upon opening the app, I am greeted with a clean layout that showcases trending shows and personalized recommendations based on my viewing history. The search function is efficient, allowing me to find specific titles or genres quickly. Streaming quality is impressive, with options to adjust resolution based on my internet speed, ensuring a smooth viewing experience. I have encountered minimal buffering, even during peak hours, which speaks volumes about the app's performance. Overall, my experience with Crunchyroll has been overwhelmingly positive, as it combines a user-friendly design with a rich selection of content that keeps me coming back for more.
Crunchyroll offers a free tier that allows users to access a limited selection of content with ads. However, for a more comprehensive experience, I opted for the premium subscription, which is reasonably priced at around $7.99 per month. This subscription not only removes ads but also grants access to the entire library, simulcast episodes, and exclusive content. I find this investment worthwhile, especially considering the amount of content I consume regularly.
Crunchyroll frequently updates its app to enhance user experience and fix any bugs. I appreciate the regular addition of new titles and features, which keeps the content fresh and engaging. Customer support is also commendable; I once had a minor issue with my subscription, and the support team responded promptly and resolved my concern within a day. This level of service adds to my overall satisfaction with the app.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, and Crunchyroll takes these concerns seriously. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it is sourced from reputable platforms. Registration requires basic personal information, such as an email address, which is standard for most streaming services. I appreciate that Crunchyroll has a clear privacy policy outlining how my data is used and protected.
While using the app, I have noticed some ads, particularly in the free version, but they are not overly intrusive. The premium subscription eliminates ads altogether, which enhances the viewing experience. Additionally, Crunchyroll does not engage in excessive tracking behavior, which is a relief for users concerned about their online privacy. Overall, I feel secure using the app, knowing that my personal information is handled responsibly.

the app was working excellent before the update, now when I download videos for when I have no connection, my audio will play but no video, even the pictures of the series disappeared, I have cleared the cache I have deleted and redownloaded the shows I wanted, and even reinstalled crunchy and it's still not fixed, either go back to the old version or fix this issue, not all of us have a constant flow of Internet around us and can't connect when we want. Please and thank you.

No matter how many times you email them and you talk to them to try to fix their site, they still do not fix their site. they should just be reading these comments at this point and fixing what is wrong with it. for instance, I cannot watch downloadable episodes when I am offline. they have to be online some sort. Yes, I know about the two-day download time limit thing. I meant all your criteria. I went through all your support channels, but nothing works. fix it or shut down point blank. simple

Ive had nothing but problems with logging into Crunchyroll. verifying email addresses repeatedly. not letting me reset my password. contacting support, they can't help me, asked me to email support. email came back saying they don't do email anymore and to contact support through the chat bot. However, it seems the first support person didn't know how to help me. the second one I talked to got me in the right direction right away. still frustrating though.

I've been a premium member for a few years and I've never had any problems. Now, when I'm watching One Piece, the Toei Animation intro at the start of every episode, the sound for it isn't there. instead the sound just skips that first 12 seconds and goes right into the song, throwing the audio off for the whole video. every single episode is like this now. everything is updated.

App is now impossible to use. All menu options are at the very bottom of the screen, Behind the on screen buttons for my phone. so I can't use this app at all. Even on my TV show thumbnails never load anymore. Crunchyroll just never works anymore!! I'm done paying for something when it doesn't work. you all refuse to fix it so I'm done paying. this has been going on since JANUARY!!!
