4.5 Dashlane Password Manager is packed with features that make managing your passwords not just easier, but also more secure. Here are some of the core highlights that set it apart:
In my daily life, I find myself juggling numerous accounts across various platforms—from social media to banking. Dashlane has become my go-to solution for managing these credentials. For example, when I recently signed up for a new streaming service, I used Dashlane’s password generator to create a strong password. This not only saved me time but also ensured that my account was secure from potential breaches. Additionally, during my work hours, I often need to access multiple client accounts. With Dashlane, I can quickly retrieve the necessary passwords without the hassle of resetting forgotten ones, allowing me to focus on my tasks rather than on password management.
The user interface of Dashlane is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean dashboard that clearly displayed my saved passwords, security score, and any alerts regarding compromised accounts. The workflow is smooth; adding a new password is as simple as clicking a button and filling in the details. I particularly appreciate the autofill feature, which works seamlessly across browsers and apps, making logging in a breeze. Performance-wise, Dashlane is quick and responsive, with minimal lag when switching between features. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, as it has significantly reduced the stress of managing my online accounts.
Dashlane offers a free version with basic features, but I opted for the Premium plan, which provides additional benefits like dark web monitoring and unlimited password storage. The pricing is competitive, especially considering the level of security and convenience it offers. For just a few dollars a month, I feel that the investment is well worth it for peace of mind and enhanced productivity.
Dashlane frequently updates its app to improve functionality and security, which is reassuring for users like me who prioritize safety. Their customer support is also commendable; I had a query regarding syncing issues, and their response was prompt and helpful. They offer a comprehensive help center with articles and FAQs, making it easy to find solutions to common problems.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when choosing a password manager. Dashlane is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the standards set by these platforms. During registration, I was required to provide minimal personal data, which is a plus in terms of privacy. Importantly, Dashlane does not display ads or engage in tracking behavior, allowing me to use the app without the annoyance of intrusive advertisements. The app’s commitment to user privacy is evident in its transparent policies and robust security measures, making it a trustworthy choice for anyone concerned about their online safety.

This app is simple, easy and quick to login. I personally don't use the auto login feature b/c I'm paranoid but when I need to access the app it's a very quick login so not that much of an inconvenience. Has an easy search tool when you start adding a lot of accounts. 5 stars! update. 6.12.26 I have become a paid subscriber for a few years but recently let it lax. now I can't even access the app. they advertised free access and that I would still have access after it expired, but it won't. 1 ⭐️

Great on mobile app, terrible on desktop. I don't like it have to use the browser extension. it's clumsy and not easy to use. I'm a long time dashlane customer but this is a show stopper for me. It's very difficult to update passwords for some sites. They took something that was easy to use and me it very cumbersome. I end up having to email passwords from my phone to my desktop. you shouldn't have to do that.

Good but to many free options out there. I used it until they starting limiting the free version. Just a basic password manager. Not worth buying when there's other free apps that do the same. Worked good while I used it. also, in order to delete your account, you have to download and install an extension to your browser on a computer. I want to delete things, not install more.

Declared my device too old to support, I'm unable to login as a result. Went from "as many passwords as you like" for free, to "limited passwords", to "pay us or we delete your passwords" There is no way to login anywhere but the app and since support for my device was dropped with NO WARNING, not only are my passwords inaccessible, but I can't even ask them to delete my account. Utter dogshit. Glad I copied my stuff elsewhere before they blindsided me. Data loss like this is inexcusable.

The free version quickly renders itself useless. Limited number of passwords on local storage, really? Some people don't have money to blow on things that aren't entirely necessary. Those people should still be taken care of for the sake of reputation and mass adoption, right? Not according to Dashlane apparently. It's like they forgot what the purpose of the app is. Secure. Passwords. Keep all the other features locked behind a paywall, that's fine, just let me have more passwords.
