3.8 "D&D Lords of Waterdeep" is a captivating digital adaptation of the classic board game that brings the rich lore of the Dungeons & Dragons universe to your fingertips. Here are some of its standout features:
As a long-time fan of tabletop games, I often find myself looking for ways to enjoy my favorite pastimes on the go. "D&D Lords of Waterdeep" has become my go-to app for those moments when I have a few spare minutes, whether I'm waiting for an appointment or relaxing at home. Recently, I used the app during a lunch break at work, where I could quickly dive into a game with colleagues. The ability to play in short bursts made it easy to fit into my busy schedule, and I loved how I could pick up right where I left off without any hassle.
The user interface of "D&D Lords of Waterdeep" is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for both newcomers and seasoned players to navigate. The main menu is straightforward, allowing quick access to different game modes and settings. I particularly appreciated the tutorial feature, which guided me through the basics without overwhelming me. The performance of the app has been stellar; I experienced minimal lag, even during intense multiplayer sessions. Overall, my feelings after using the app have been overwhelmingly positive. The combination of strategic depth and engaging storytelling kept me coming back for more, and I found myself eagerly anticipating my next game.
"D&D Lords of Waterdeep" is available for a one-time purchase, which I found to be quite reasonable considering the depth of content and replayability it offers. The price point is competitive with other mobile games, and I felt that the investment was justified given the quality of the gameplay and the immersive experience. Additionally, there are optional in-app purchases available for those who want to enhance their experience further, but I found the base game to be more than sufficient for hours of enjoyment.
The developers of "D&D Lords of Waterdeep" have been proactive in providing updates and support. I’ve noticed regular updates that not only fix bugs but also introduce new content and features, which keeps the game fresh and exciting. The support team is responsive, and I had a positive experience when I reached out with a question about gameplay mechanics. Their commitment to improving the app is evident, and it gives me confidence that the game will continue to evolve.
As an American user, security and privacy are always top of mind when using mobile apps. "D&D Lords of Waterdeep" is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of trustworthiness. The app requires minimal personal data for registration, which I appreciated; I was able to create an account without providing excessive information. There are no intrusive ads, and I didn’t notice any tracking behavior that would compromise my privacy. Overall, I felt secure while using the app, allowing me to focus on the gameplay without worrying about my personal information being at risk.

The game is awesome. The design of the mobile version is terrible. The amount of times you have to pass the phone or tablet around just to do mundane things like choose a quest from an intrigue card, choose a class or cube, or just simply end your turn after choosing is absolutely infuriating (while watching a recap for each) . Simple things that can be done on your turn and shouldn't require you to pass it on. There's also no way to skip the recap. You can make it go by faster bot not skip.

I just don't like the online timer. was on with a friend, taking short turns, when I was informed that I forfeited while my opponent was making a choice as an Intrigue card resolved. And I was ahead, too. Love the game, the zoom, the indicators, the avatars, the music, the art, the animation, the AI players, etc.

Great game, really annoying sound issues. Specifically, I hate the sound. I always turn the music and sound effects off on games that I play. With Lords of water deep, if I connect to a Bluetooth sound device, such as when I get in my car, it will start playing sounds. But if I go into settings, they are all still turned off. I actually have to turn them on, and then turn them back off. And then it's quiet. But if I disconnect from a Bluetooth sound device, the game starts making sound again.

This app is a fun way to play "Lords" single player. Haven't gotten a chance to play with friends because I can't convince any of them to buy it. My frustration comes with newer glitches that are just now showing up. The achievements have never really been properly recorded by "Google Play Games" which might be googles fault. But recently the game is also frequently getting stuck on the final score screen, and has failed to record its own achievements. Devs pointed to an update which didn't fix.

Love this game. Wish clues were a little emote pronounced. Maybe vibrate when it's your turn, or have the screen flash. Also, my some was setting up the multiplayer games. He didn't realize you could click on the timer to extend the game play time. So we played two half hour matches, and the timer forced me to forfeit mid game. I set up the next game and figured it out right away. Otherwise, we love it.
