2.9 Using the eharmony app became a part of my daily routine. I would often find myself scrolling through potential matches during my lunch breaks or while waiting for appointments. One memorable scenario was when I was at a coffee shop, and I decided to check the app. I came across a profile that caught my eye, and I sent a message right then and there. It turned out to be a great conversation starter, and we ended up meeting for coffee the following week!
The user interface of eharmony is clean and intuitive, making it easy to navigate through profiles and messages. I appreciated the thoughtful layout, which allowed me to focus on the content rather than getting lost in clutter. The feature workflow is smooth; I could easily switch between browsing matches and checking messages without any lag. Overall, my experience was positive, as I felt the app was designed with the user in mind, making the process of finding love enjoyable rather than overwhelming.
eharmony offers a variety of subscription plans, which can be a bit of a commitment. While the free version allows you to create a profile and view matches, the premium features, such as unlimited messaging and seeing who viewed your profile, require a subscription. I opted for a six-month plan, which felt reasonable considering the quality of matches I was receiving. It’s an investment in my love life, and I believe it’s worth it for serious daters.
The app is regularly updated, which is a plus for any user. I noticed improvements in the matching algorithm and new features being added over time. Customer support is also responsive; I had a minor issue with my profile visibility, and the support team addressed it promptly. Their commitment to user satisfaction is evident, making me feel valued as a member of the eharmony community.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using dating apps. eharmony is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of trust as these platforms have strict guidelines for app security. During registration, I was required to provide personal information, including my email and some basic details about myself. However, I appreciated that the app emphasizes user privacy and does not share personal data with third parties without consent.
Additionally, eharmony does not bombard users with ads, which is a relief. I’ve encountered other dating apps that track user behavior for advertising purposes, but eharmony focuses on creating a safe environment for genuine connections. Overall, I felt secure using the app, knowing that my information was protected and that I could control my visibility and interactions with other users.

It's possible that it could find you a real person. You just need to fork over nearly $400 to make it usable. I would have been happy to pay one month, test it out, and give a more educated opinion, but that isnt a thing. The free version of this app shows only blurred out photos, possibly good to mitigate shallow biases, but in an era of ai imagery and scammers, those photos are needed. Many people suggested to you are in different states or countries, and no preference seems to matter. :(

don't bother. you make a whole profile and then to even do ANYTHING on the app you need to pay... how much ? who knows. they throw a 50% discount at you but there's no way to redeem it and no way to upgrade your account on the app. they clearly don't care about people and just want the money. you can't even message people or see their messages to you without paying. literally a scam

After spending considerable time creating my account, I was presented with several confusing payment options. I selected the $16 per month plan and chose the single payment option, under the impression that it covered one month. Instead, I was charged for an entire year upfront. Furthermore, it is disappointing that after completing the extensive registration process, the account features remain extremely limited.

eHarmony feels like Tinder with a higher price. Most profiles are either very old or brand‑new, and there’s no way to see when someone was last active. A huge number of people who message you get removed as scammers. The new interface hides basic info, blocks transparency, and forces you into an algorithm‑only feed. For the price they charge, the experience doesn’t feel premium.

I can't recommend eHarmony. You can't meaningfully see the available dating pool until after you pay. After subscribing, I found only a handful of matches, even after expanding my age range, distance, and changing cities. I asked to cancel, but they refused to stop the remaining payments. They even deleted my account, then charged me again the following month. Read the reviews before signing up—I wish I had. total scam
