4.2 The "Fios TV Mobile" app is a powerful companion for anyone who subscribes to Verizon's Fios TV service. It offers a range of features that enhance the viewing experience, making it easier to watch your favorite shows and manage your account on the go. Here are some of the standout features that I found particularly useful:
As a busy professional, I often find myself juggling work and personal commitments. The "Fios TV Mobile" app has become an essential part of my daily routine. For instance, during my morning commute, I can catch up on the latest episodes of my favorite shows. I remember one particular day when I was stuck in traffic; instead of getting frustrated, I opened the app and started watching a live sports game. It made the wait much more enjoyable!
Another scenario is when I’m at home but busy with chores. I can easily stream a show while cooking dinner or folding laundry. The flexibility of being able to watch on my phone or tablet means I never have to miss out on my favorite content, no matter what I’m doing.
The user interface of the "Fios TV Mobile" app is intuitive and user-friendly. Upon opening the app, I was greeted with a clean layout that made navigation a breeze. The main menu is well-organized, allowing me to quickly access live TV, on-demand content, and my DVR recordings. I particularly appreciate the search function, which helps me find specific shows or movies without scrolling endlessly.
Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly with minimal buffering, even when streaming live content. I’ve experienced very few glitches, which is impressive considering the amount of data being processed. Overall, my experience with the app has been overwhelmingly positive; it has truly enhanced my viewing habits and made it easier to enjoy my favorite shows.
The "Fios TV Mobile" app is free to download for both iOS and Android devices, but it requires a subscription to Verizon's Fios TV service. This means that while the app itself doesn’t cost anything, you will need to pay for your Fios TV package to access its full range of features. Given the quality of content and the convenience it offers, I believe it’s worth the investment for any Fios subscriber.
Verizon regularly updates the "Fios TV Mobile" app to improve functionality and add new features. I’ve noticed enhancements in streaming quality and user interface tweaks that make the app even more enjoyable to use. Additionally, Verizon provides solid customer support for app-related issues. I had a minor problem once, and their support team was quick to respond and resolve my issue, which left me feeling valued as a customer.
As an American user, security and privacy are always top of mind when using mobile applications. The "Fios TV Mobile" app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of credibility. During the registration process, I was required to provide some personal information, including my Verizon account details, which is standard for apps of this nature.
In terms of ads and tracking behavior, I’ve noticed that the app does not bombard me with intrusive advertisements, which is a relief. However, it does collect data to personalize my viewing experience, which is common practice. Verizon has a clear privacy policy that outlines how they use my data, and I appreciate their transparency in this regard. Overall, I feel secure using the app, knowing that my information is handled responsibly.

They don't want to fix this app. It's been the same connection errors for over a decade now. Doesn't matter what phone, router, or set-top box I have. I have a strong wifi connection and will literally sit next to the set top box but still can't watch something without getting an error every 5-90 seconds. But every other app I use always works just fine. And it tells me I'm out of the house when I'm not. Which shouldn't matter for a MOBILE app anyhow.

I've been paying these clowns hundreds of dollars a month for many yearsand haven't gotten this stupid app to work for the last year plus. I really only need it when I can't find the TV remote or I'm out of the house and need to watch a sporting event. I always end up finding a different way to see the game and forget about it until the next game, when it fails me again.

They don't want to fix the issues. It's the same problems for over a decade. Having to sign back in all the time and CONSTANT connection errors. I will have a brand new phone, an updated app, full bars, sitting 2 feet from my router with a strong connection, and able to touch the set top box... Yet it will STILL times out every minute or two. There's no excuse to still be having these issues. Every other app works just fine!

If I could give the app 0 stars, I would. Had no problems up until now. I've deleted and re-downloaded the app, only to keep getting the same error message when I try to log in. There should be ZERO issues, given how expensive cable/internet is with you guys! Very disappointing! Once I saw that the bill had gone up yet again, I thought about going elsewhere. This just validates it!

Not user friendly. Channels poorly arranged. No local channels available. Completely useless viewing on PC. You have to sign in then are directed to the invidual network websites where you have to sign in again and still the programing doesn't load. Previously had Spectrum which has a very good online experience. When you sign in to Spectrum you have all channels listed in order on a side bar which is easy to scroll through and select the channel you want to view. .
