Terrible app! I deposited $10 but when I'd try sending messages insufficient funds pops up. Called customer service & got that taken care of, then I had issues sending pics. Five out of 9 pics didn't go thru and it says "Denied: StatusesSyncServices"...but best believe I was charged for sending them. That was a few days ago. Now I can't send pics at all. There's no need for GTL to fix the problem because there's no competition, so they know we'll just deal with it. Smh.

The messaging app seems to be the most effective at getting through and having communication. Everything has to be approved, but you can upload pictures, and even send videos. The phone system however has difficulties. If you don't answer and choose "0", you will be disconnected. If this happens twice in a row, then no call can be made to the same number for 48 hours. Sometimes for no reason it switches to Spanish, which I don't speak, and then it's very confusing but I just remember to hit 0.

The app keeps telling me my incarcerated loved one has been released... he only went to work release. It boots us both out numerous times throughout the day. Dont even get me started of how confusing it is since theres 3 separate business and customer service departments on one page, so you call the wrong one pretty much guaranteed. telemate, is separate from gtl. Those are both separate from the other advance pay or whatever its called. The website kicks you to another website...

Very often, the message I'm typing will just disappear and I have to start over. VERY FRUSTRATING, especially when many paragraphs are lost. The inmate I send messages to also occasionally experiences the same thing. Also, when I send photos (small MB), it sometimes takes NUMEROUS attempts to go through. I have excellent, internet and have tried to send photos from other places and connected to other high speed internet, and it makes no difference. Can these things not be fixed??

This app sucks. It freezes constantly and you cannot finish your message. Then you have to start over. If you're lucky enough to get your message finished without it crashing, it usually pends for 2-3 days. You can only send one picture at a time. If you select the wrong picture you cannot delete it. When you call customer service, they fumble with solutions to fix the issue and will contact you via email. That doesn't happen either! The app is difficult to set up. Alot of app issues.
