4.6 Loosid: Sober Recovery Network is a powerful tool designed to support individuals on their journey to sobriety. With a range of features tailored to foster community and personal growth, this app stands out in the recovery space. Here are some of its core features:
Using Loosid has become an integral part of my daily life. I often find myself reaching for the app during moments of temptation or when I feel overwhelmed. For example, last week, I was invited to a party where I knew alcohol would be present. Instead of succumbing to anxiety, I opened Loosid and connected with a friend from the community who offered support and encouragement. This real-time interaction helped me navigate the situation with confidence.
Additionally, I use the daily check-in feature every morning to set my intentions for the day. It’s a simple yet effective way to ground myself and remind me of my commitment to sobriety. On particularly challenging days, I turn to the resource library for motivational podcasts that inspire me to keep pushing forward.
The user interface of Loosid is clean and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. Upon opening the app, I’m greeted with a welcoming dashboard that highlights my sobriety milestones and upcoming events. The layout is user-friendly, allowing me to easily access community discussions, check-ins, and resources without feeling overwhelmed.
Performance-wise, the app runs smoothly with minimal lag, which is crucial when I’m in a moment of need. I appreciate how quickly I can connect with others or find the information I’m looking for. Overall, my experience with Loosid has been overwhelmingly positive; it feels like a supportive friend that’s always there when I need it most.
Loosid offers a free version that provides access to many of its core features, making it accessible for anyone seeking support in their recovery journey. For those looking for an enhanced experience, there is a premium subscription available that unlocks additional resources and features. I find the pricing to be reasonable, especially considering the value it brings to my recovery process.
The developers of Loosid are committed to continuous improvement, regularly releasing updates that enhance functionality and user experience. I’ve noticed several updates since I started using the app, each one addressing user feedback and introducing new features. Additionally, customer support is responsive and helpful, providing assistance whenever I encounter issues or have questions about the app.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any app, especially one focused on personal recovery. Loosid is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring it meets the necessary security standards for mobile applications. During registration, I was required to provide minimal personal information, which made me feel secure about my privacy.
Loosid does not bombard users with ads, which is a significant plus for me. Instead, the app focuses on creating a supportive environment without the distractions of commercial tracking. I appreciate that my data is not being sold or used for targeted advertising, allowing me to engage with the community freely and without concern.

I've made a lot of great connections and channels of support here. But I'm legitimately ready to uninstall the app.... it keeps freezing and making my entire phone freeze up every single time I am in a chat with someone. Every. Single. Time. I can't send more than a message before the text box starts freezing up and then the app just shuts down and leaves a text box on the bottom of my phone that won't go away unless I restart it. Great idea/app but the technology is trash. Ready to move on....

I am very impressed with this app. It is the first recovery app I've used and it'll be hard to top it if I try out another one. I love the tip of the day. They are very relevant if you work a 12 step program. My absolute favorite feature is in the Boozeless Concierge, the online events. There are so many to choose from for all different subjects to help maintain or really get yourself started with your recovery. The events vary from meditations, mindfulness, yoga, therapeutic groups, etc

Response: Not outdated. It's the most recent version, and a fresh install. Still met with critical error. Back to being an awful app. Critical Error (java) prevents app from opening most times. All permissions are already granted to the app, but it doesn't seem to notice that. Can't login to already existing account - forces you to create a new account for no reason.

I guess it's not their fault, but would like to see an app tailored more to people who choose not to drink. This app may help if you're struggling with alcohol. I was interested in meeting healthy people who actively choose and enjoy making healthy choices. That being said I'm happy to see those struggling finding a way to work through their struggles, just wish there was a social network geared towards normalizing sobriety.

It freezes up a lot so I have to fully close and reopen it at least once each time I use it (and I only use it for about 10 minutes at a time). Most people seem okay but peer support isn't as prevalent here as other apps like SoberTime which is disheartening. Would like to see more diverse topics for minorities and people who are sober/becoming sober through means outside of AA
