4.7 monday.com is a versatile work management platform that has transformed the way teams collaborate and manage projects. Here are some of its standout features that make it a go-to choice for many organizations:
As a project manager in a fast-paced marketing agency, I rely heavily on monday.com to keep my team organized and on track. One of the most significant scenarios where I use the app is during our campaign planning sessions. Each campaign requires input from various departments, including design, content, and analytics. By setting up a dedicated board for each campaign, I can assign tasks, set deadlines, and track progress in real-time. This centralized approach has drastically reduced the time spent in meetings and email chains, allowing us to focus on creativity and execution.
The user interface of monday.com is intuitive and visually appealing, making it easy for new users to navigate. The dashboard is customizable, allowing me to prioritize the information that matters most. I appreciate the drag-and-drop functionality, which simplifies task management. The performance has been consistently smooth, with minimal lag even when multiple users are collaborating simultaneously. Overall, my experience has been positive; the app has significantly improved our team's productivity and communication. The ability to visualize our projects in various formats has also made it easier to present updates to stakeholders.
monday.com offers a range of pricing plans to accommodate different team sizes and needs. The pricing starts with a free tier for small teams, which is a great way to test the waters. As our team grew, we opted for the Standard plan, which provides additional features like timeline views and integrations. While it may seem a bit pricey compared to other tools, the value it brings in terms of efficiency and organization justifies the investment.
The support provided by monday.com has been commendable. They offer a comprehensive knowledge base and responsive customer service. I recently encountered a minor issue with a feature, and their support team was quick to assist, resolving my query within hours. Additionally, the platform frequently rolls out updates, introducing new features and enhancements based on user feedback, which shows their commitment to continuous improvement.
As an American user, security and privacy are paramount when using any online platform, and monday.com takes these concerns seriously. The app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, ensuring that it meets the security standards of these platforms. When registering, I was required to provide basic personal information, which is standard practice. However, I appreciate that monday.com has a clear privacy policy outlining how they handle user data.
Importantly, the platform does not bombard users with ads, and I have not noticed any intrusive tracking behavior while using the app. They employ robust security measures, including data encryption and regular security audits, which gives me peace of mind knowing that our project data is protected. Overall, monday.com strikes a good balance between functionality and user privacy, making it a reliable choice for teams looking to enhance their work management processes.

2 stars because the desktop version does still work fine, but since about 3 weeks ago the android version is CONSTANTLY crashing. I can only use it about 10% of the time. About twice a day I have to put the app to deep sleep just so I can use it a few times in a day. Doesn't matter if on cell or wifi, it is a daily issue. Please figure out the issue and fix it.

It is a great platform, but only for teams. If you are on your own, just don't waste your time. I had a student account, which has basic features. But there are two main things that are in Pro plan: automatins and dependencies. And the pro plan is only sold starting from 3 seats. Which means if you are on your own you "have to" pay for two more people. And that's just too expensive and not worth it. Clickup has all these features for free. It is harder honestly to learn clickup, but it worth it.

The app works great except for one seriously annoying fault. I keep having to re-upload pictures over and over again to get them to actually fully upload. No matter if I'm on wifi, 5G, full bars, give each update 5-10 minutes, it doesn't matter. 50-90% of my photos and updates will not upload for my boss to see on her end, but show as being there on my end.

I think the initial presentation of the UI is nice, but the functionality falls short IMHO. I expected more of an intuitive process flow but instead this service had more of a clunky feeling to it. The CRM feature was the biggest disappointment. So, I contact Customer Care. Initially, the customer care agent was polite. She asked me why I wanted to cancel and then when it came time to issue the refund (after less than a week), they seriously would not just refund the entire amount I paid. I never "used" this product. I just browsed around the interface and checked out a few training videos. They get a 1-star because they would not refund the entire year back to me. It was a petty thing to do on their part and they completely ruined any chance of me, or my team, using or purchasing their product in the future for doing that. I am highly disappointed in their customer service team for their pettiness.

App is buggy and doesn't save changes made 100% of the time. Desktop site is much better and more intuitive - 'not yet optimized for mobile' might best describe its current state. That aside, join their student program and get a free account to use as a student! Well worth it, though it clearly is more designed for collaboration than individual use.
