Features & Highlights

  • Diverse Monster Collection: "Neo Monsters" boasts an extensive roster of over 1,000 unique monsters. Each monster has its own abilities and traits, allowing players to strategize and build their dream team. For instance, I spent hours capturing and training a rare fire-type monster, which became my go-to in battles against tougher opponents.
  • Engaging Battle Mechanics: The turn-based battle system is both intuitive and challenging. Players can utilize various strategies, combining monster abilities to outsmart their opponents. I remember a particularly thrilling match where I had to think several moves ahead to counter my rival's powerful water-type monster, leading to a nail-biting victory.
  • Rich Storyline and Quests: The game features an immersive storyline filled with quests that keep players engaged. I found myself deeply invested in the narrative, especially during a quest where I had to rescue a village from a menacing monster. The storyline added depth to my gaming experience, making each battle feel meaningful.

Real Experience Using "Neo Monsters"

Application Scenarios

As a busy professional, I often find myself looking for ways to unwind during my commute or during lunch breaks. "Neo Monsters" has become my go-to app for these moments. I typically start my day by checking in on my monsters, feeding them, and preparing them for battles. During my lunch break, I dive into quests, often finding myself lost in the captivating storyline. The app fits seamlessly into my daily routine, providing both entertainment and a mental escape.

User Experience

The user interface of "Neo Monsters" is sleek and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. The main menu is well-organized, allowing easy access to my monster collection, battles, and quests. I appreciate the vibrant graphics and animations that bring the monsters to life, enhancing the overall experience. Pricing

"Neo Monsters" is free to download and play, which is a significant advantage for casual gamers. However, it does offer in-app purchases for those who want to enhance their experience further. I found that while the game is enjoyable without spending money, investing in certain items can speed up progress and provide access to exclusive monsters. This balance allows players to enjoy the game at their own pace, whether they choose to spend or not.

The developers of "Neo Monsters" are proactive in providing updates and support. I’ve noticed regular updates that introduce new monsters and fix bugs, which shows their commitment to improving the game. Additionally, the support team is responsive; I had a minor issue with my account, and they resolved it quickly. The community forums are also a great resource for tips and tricks, making it easy to connect with other players and share experiences.

Security & Privacy Review

As an American user, I prioritize security and privacy when using mobile apps. "Neo Monsters" is available on both the App Store and Google Play, which adds a layer of trust. The app requires basic registration, including an email address, but I appreciate that it doesn’t ask for excessive personal information. I’ve noticed some ads within the app, but they are not intrusive and do not disrupt gameplay. Additionally, the app does not seem to engage in aggressive tracking behavior, which is a significant concern for many users today. Overall, I feel secure using "Neo Monsters," knowing that my data is handled responsibly.

mixed feelings. solid gameplay. mythic monsters shouldn't require 3 duplicates to awaken I think that this is the biggest problem with the game. I thought the game was great up to that point and then I figured it's a really bad system. probably won't even try to play PVP because it's pay to win since that's their evolution method vs using ingredients like the rest of the monsters, also it greatly takes away from the games playability since you can't ever use any of those monsters.

I really wish this was a portrait mode game, so I could play while laying down. I guess asking for a review before you even get to play much is a double edged sword, huh? 0/10. Edit: Just want to let you know I immediately uninstalled. Saw more ads to buy stuff and review the game than actually playing the game. -1000/10

So much fun for the first 1-2 weeks. The first part of the campaign and side missions are really fun. Once you get to the point to Ultra-Evolve your strong monsters, they're blocked behind paywalls. Once you get to part 2 of everything, you're not strong enough, so you have to pay A LOT ($1000+) to potentially succeed. You basically need the best monsters in the game to unlock the ingredients to evolve your basic monsters, which at that point is pointless to spend the extra time doing that.

I'm a long-time player in Hunter Island, Dragon Island Blue, and finally - Neo Monsters. On the one hand, the games are brilliant and captivating, and I appreciate the developers' attention to details. On the other hand - and this is a big issue - it's very clear that the developers are willing to sacrifice the joy of playing for plain money grab. Players cannot enjoy the full game, and experience the different strategies in the game, without spending an inordinate amount of money - thousands of dollars, and I'm not exaggerating. I honestly can't figure out why they choose this business model. Games like Pokemon allow everyone to 'catch'em all' if you just work hard enough for it. But in Neo Monsters, you simply cannot 'work hard enough'. The statistics are absolutely skewed against you, in a way that means that you will NEVER (in a reasonable lifetime) enjoy the full variety of monsters in the game, without spending thousands of dollars on it. I think it's a shame that game developers would do such a thing to their audience, and NTT doesn't even bother replying to all the suggestions for improvement in the game's forum. They're basically treating their players as purses. Shame.

I recently began playing this game. I can appreciate the story and the gameplay mechanics but I do have a few issues with it. I was surprised to learn that you had to use -paid- gems instead of gems that you earn in game to hatch certain eggs. Also, every time I start the game I immediately get ads for in-game items. The starting menu is way too chaotic with all the buttons, advertisements, notification symbols, and options you can choose. Overall, it's fun but it can be annoying.
